I was hoping I might see a celebrity on the plane or the airport in Japan....but being in the economy section and it's sooo crowded, no luck. And, I think many of the young stars dress "down" when they're out and about, can't even recognize them. I'm one of those sitting at home, too...you're not alone!

Thing is, she typically dresses down in her tomboy wear to begin with.

I noticed that she's not a "seductive" type of dresser.... but very simple and loose style.

i think i remember from some interview that the reporter was "astonished" to see Juri wearing all casual stuff and standing in the middle of the street (and nobody even recognized her). this was after nodame began so popularity wasn't the deciding factor here

i do remember one vid where see was recognized by fans at an airport. she was really nice and signed stuff and kept waving after she walked away.

Yeah, she's not... She's more of a tomboy, though she seems to be wearing more dresses and heels lately... Maybe to promote Nodame and Sunao.

I've seen that in the recent Hong Kong videos and in a video when she was in Korea promoting Swing Girls.

Not that weird... Hiroshi-kun seems like a cool guy to hang with, but it'd be hard for me to take my eyes off of Juri-chan... He'd probably be put off.
