Keiko's home page is currently being remodelled anyway...

Notes:
I faithfully copy the punctuation, or in this case, the lack of it.
(She seems to have two modes of writing on juri art, which I call normal and poetry style.)
HP = Home Page.
I shouldn't translate titles, but they pose a challenge I can't resist.
The title in this case is "Hidamari no Kanojo".

To my always supportive fans

I've kept you waiting for long time

I'm working hard on the movie "My Girl in the Sunny Spot" that will be released next year

In my private life I do things like taking photos or writing poetry

I think it would be nice if I deliver them to you some day

Gathering news and posting it to the blog or HP is pretty tough,

and yet I always continue to be supported by a warm-hearted family, right?

I'm doing my best with the filming too, please wait for it

I'm always grateful to you from the bottom of my heart

Thank you

@@@@@
From Juri

People who've viewed the Taiga drama "Gō",
and also people who've visited the charity talk show,
and people who've enlivened things unrelated to Gō,
I'm greatly indebted to you for the past year.

The drama gave me the privilege to do fun events and tours,
and your remarks in your letters and emails and your smiles have moved me greatly,
making it a really happy experience for me.

By crossing the distance to the world of the drama in this way,
that warm-heartedness
bound together, gave energy and hope not just to
myself and the staff involved with the drama, but to all of Japan.

The drama met it's final episode,
but I'm sure your energy and hopes will
continue into a force for mutual cooperation and encouragement leading towards an joyful life.
I also want, with all my might, to go on live this once-only life with care.

--------------------------------------------------
Next up is a long 3/11 related message. No guarantees...

I'm afraid Keiko has a claim on all my time, and my interest in Juri is a really weird one: I don't find her attractive, and that puzzles me, because she must be.

She is. In love

i'm so happy i could cry Shameful Cry w00t!

there's such a 'simplistic niceness' in her writing(by your translations of course).. with a sense of introspective awareness

if you say your interest in Juri is a weird one.. i'd say maybe it's because she is a weird one : P

^ Great scene from Turtles. rofl

Trivia note: the guy with the glasses (Iwamatsu Ryo) in the last frame would later become Juri-chan's dad in Nodame Cantabile. Smile

Seems like the actors in Japan are a smaller fraternity than in Hollywood: less degrees of separation. Smile

Not to mention her teacher in Swing Girls (the fake jazz conductor) later became Strezemann in Nodame Cantabile. Smile

Yeah. I even thought they were from the same agency or something. Especially Mizukawa (Kiora in Nodame Cantabile, also in Last friends and Gou) and Eita (in about half Juri's work, it seems).

But alas, I wasn't able to find a common agency, director, producer or anything like that. I have no idea if they're friends or something.

Another thing I find funny is that Juri is in a lot of shows that are somehow related to France (Nodame, Joudan Janai, Itsutsu no Kaban, I think there's more), but she's personally a lot more interested in England than France.

She does seem to love travelling anyway.
