Is it because of Nodame? They sure promoted it quite a bit overseas. I'm very thankful to those fans. Most stuff available on edonkey comes from China and Korea.

By the way, I started watching and subbing Teru teru kazoku (the first episode is here), but it seems that it's Osaka dialect, so they're not going to be quality subs Sad

That's okay since it's not very good video quality either. Beaten

i mean like.. there's this constant bloom effect lighting or something.. makes the film quality.. or something about the visuals seem much older than a show that came out early 2000's(?)

Speaking of odd things, I was looking carefully at Juri in the Nodame movies, and I can't get rid of the thought that she's wearing a wig. I searched around the net for something that might confirm it, but I didn't find anything. What do you think?

Nodame's hair in the movies just doesn't ever change, is never wet and fully exposed at the same time, you can't see her black roots (in contrast to the original drama), and just doesn't look like Juri's hair to me.

Not sure about the movies, but there was one premiere or whatever where she was obviously wearing a wig... Not sure why. Sweat

at least in the 1st movie, there were parts where her bangs were pulled up, and her hair did get wet at the end

start of 2nd movie, she had just taken a shower.. and was toweling off, but it was completely dry
