Alice's Thorn
It has finally started!
Filming for the TBS drama "Alice's Thorn", to be broadcast 4/11 Friday evening 22:00.
To be part of making it is a joy every day. ^_^
It's a revenge tragedy suspense drama, but don't think that results in a tense atmosphere,
it's a warm and gentle set where we support each other and day by day create the work enthusiastically.
I was filmed alone a lot at first,
but all the main actors finally filmed together a few days ago.
This is becoming a hot drama for sure, I'm thrilled inside.
The staff I met on the first day say things like, "You look different from before", and,
"Different from yesterday again", whenever I see them lately. I'm happy that I'm tainted by Asumi day by day.
Under the instructions of the director, the scenes with all the main actors give rise
to various emotions, suddenly letting you feel the world view of the drama open up.
The charm of "Alice's Thorn" is that it's an original drama,
for which the composition will be steadily refined till the end!
Moreover, with nothing but actors who are overflowing with charm,
I'm now dealing with it all thinking, "Ah, will this be over in three months?" :-)
Having had the privilege to experience a Taiga drama,
the way I sense time is surely going to change. ^_^
It's called "multi", using many cameras in the studio to film the drama.
With two and often three cameras, using lenses that are also used in movies.
They're freely using slow-motion and special effects,
so I'm also really looking forward to what the monitor isn't showing me.
The lighting, studio sets, and shooting locations are really wonderful too,
lending support to the charm of this new suspense drama "Alice's Thorn" ^_^
What the multi can't shoot is that the sets are full enclosure types.
The operating room and Asumi's room make me feel like I'm on location.
Things will be going fast when once it's put on air,
but while keeping an eye on my health I'll do my best till the end!
Each episode will make you anxious to see the next, so it's a drama you'll surely want to follow from the start.
Especially episode 1 is not to be missed. I'll be happy if you enjoy it while
understanding all the relationships fully and predicting future developments! ^_^

so I continue to await your messages!

Today, after filming for "Alice's Thorn",
I had interviews with Yomiuri Shinbun,
Tokyo News Service, and Kyodo News among others.
They had read the script attentively and were very interested in the work,
which made me really happy.
It won't be much longer before the drama goes on air, right?
That many people can share in it by watching it on time, by recording it,
or by mobile phone is distinctive of a drama, isn't it?
I want to work hard to the end to deliver you a great work,
so please favour us to the last episode! ^_^
It became a day in which I thought anew, "Let's do it!"
