well u want to know why? maybe the good looking reason isn't so good so here are my reasons...
1# he's very good in acting <beautiful life>
2# he's a comedian in almost all the drama's he acted in...
3# he's a good singer <SMAP>
4# he's very cute when he smiles....=p
5# i guess most ppl voted for him because he is good looking and a handsome stud, but for me he's okie... *^^* |

Just read that in his latest What's Up programme, he had a poll on which hairstyles his fans thought he looked best in. Thought maybe we might like to have a similar one here just for fun.

Yup! I like his hairstyle in that MTV too. My next favourite after Love Generation. Heard that they may be showing an MTV of his solo "Shoisai" after Faye Wong's drama on Ch U (Wednesday). Hope it is a real MTV and not some cut and paste.

hmmm, maybe I can't decide...do I like it long or short?!! For long look, I really think his hair in The Gift is kakkoi!! If I like the short style, then I think it is best in Lionheart MTV, yes.

I know Kimura Takuya been the no.1 superstar in Japan for quite some years now. People commend his acting skills and multiple talents. I can see why and understand that. But I also notice how many people say he's so handsome and that he has been given titles such as "the face of the decade". Well THAT's what I can't understand.
Overall he looks about above average (still not great). But if you would point out seperate feautures then it is even harder to understand why people find him so handsome:
He's got a big nose and on the side it is not straight (which is usually an important aspect to beauty) but slightly angled. He's also got those 2 deep grooves/wrinkles next on the sides of his nose (everyone has them, but not quite as deep as he has) which makes him look older than he is (he's always had those even in his younger years). His legs are to be honest on the short side and very thin (how'd he ever win the best looking male in jeans prize so many years in a row?). I also doubt that the profiles shown on the web saying that he's 1.76 cm are correct, because he looks rather short and small in pictures/scenes showing his full posture. Asians also have a reputation of cheating a bit with the height of idols (I'm asian too and simply telling the truth).
Seeing his full posture, you'll also see that his head is pretty big. Maybe it's because of his hair, but it doesn't change much from the sight of a big head...
Kimura Takuya is one of my favorite actors because his skills are up there with top notch Hollywood actors, BUT he's simply not as handsome as all the hype makes him out to be. Attractiveness (he's multi-talented) is mistaken for beauty in this case... |

But the thing that I couldn't understand about Takuya is he looks good sometimes but sometimes not. Like...he look great in Beautiful life but I don't like his looks in Love Generation...the hair maybe? |
