Hmm, I was just thinking: for those who haven't complied even though I've warned them several times, maybe I'll post their names in a sticky thread for all to see... hehe

Nothing like public humiliation to straighten people out... Though I think Genma would frown on this. But what's the next step after diplomacy, when you have limited power? Head Scratch

Do you have the power to disable sigs to individual users? That'll get their attention in a hurry.

Nope, not yet. Puppy Dog Eyes

Don't know when Genma will get around to enabling that, if ever.

All I can do, is disable the signature on a per-post basis... Tiresome, but at least we don't have to look at the fool thing.

if this is enforce-able, it'd be a good idea.

Great: I'm getting flak from another person on the Ya-Ya-Yah thread about signatures.... Grumble

The excuse is that "she's too busy and doesn't have time to make changes to her signature..."

Two things:

1. How long does it take to disable/remove a signature? I don't recall it requiring a court subpoena...

2. If she's too busy, why is she posting here in the first place? My definition of "busy" must be totally different from hers.

Jeez. Shake Head

I'll telling you: We need to have the power to disable sigs to individual users, or give us the ability to block sigs when we view posts.

I know. Maybe this should be posted in a different thread where Genma will be able to see it.

It's been batted around the Moderator's Forum for a while now: you know that old saying about a tree falling in forest and no one's around to hear it..... Sweat

To reiterate the signature guidelines:

All signature images are restricted to a maximum dimensional size of 500(w)x150(h) pixels total and that includes text and emoticons.

Please make the necessary changes to your signature images as soon as possible or they will be immediately removed and/or the account locked.

And as before, the combined file sizes of the avatar and signature must not exceed 200KB. Failure to comply will result in the immediate removal of the avatar and/or the signature.

Starting today, all avatar and signature that do not conform with the set guidelines will be deleted without notice... Victory! Peace!
