hey zchendevlemh that's the link to the article that i posted... but yeah, i can't understand how a 7 min movie part can lead to critism about his damn shoes.... i mean everyone knows he's not the tallest guy on earth, that's not new wtf?.... damn media....
on a side note: remember when he was filmming beautiful life.. when he would talk with miki mizuno.. and he would have to stand on a little ramp?... that was funny....

For any of you who don't know, my sis found out that Kimura's gonna be the voice of a supporting character named "Howl" in Miyazaki's new movie called " Howl's Moving Castle" Sorry it seems funny, if you see what the character looks like and picture his voice with Kimura's you'd possibly laugh too.....
Takuya is onli 167cm tall !!??? how could that be? all his profiles from says that he's over 170cm!! wad the world is going on here..? im confused? so wads the real height of Takuya?

i totally agree with this.. look at nagase, matsuoka, aiba.. they are NOT short.. it is really a stupid question..

Nah..he's 1.75 m. It doesn't make sense if he's 1.67 m. We all have seen him in concert wearing just sneakers right? And he's slightly shorter than Katori Shingo who is 1.83 m. Perhaps the one who wrote that article was a bit jealous of his success.

TOKYO — Takuya Kimura, an actor and singer in the hugely successful Japanese pop band SMAP, has won the unofficial title of the ideal young father over British soccer star David Beckham in a poll ahead of Father's Day on June 20.
Sanford Japan Ltd, which imports and sells Parker-brand pens, said Saturday its recent poll to decide "the most wonderful papa" put Kimura, popularly known as Kimutaku in Japan, on top with 406 votes of 1,312 valid responses from Japanese. Beckham came a distant second with 74. (Kyodo News)

Used the "Search" function but couldn't find the answer to my question, so if it's already been posted somewhere before, gomen!
I really like the actor/actress combination of Kimura Takuya and Matsu Takako. I thought they were great together in Hero, Love Generation, and Long Vacation.
Besides the 3 mentioned above, are there any more programs in which these two have acted together? I seem to recall hearing that they acted together in a few more JDoramas but can't remember in which programs.

Thanks, but I had already listed Hero as one that I've watched ... or did you mean some other program? I'm looking for others besides Hero, Love Generation and Long Vacation.

there might be some where they were in the same drama but with one of them getting smaller roles so they never did act much together. Can't think of any at the moment though
