How would you attract a professional hockey team to Indianapolis? And by professional, I don't necessarily mean the NHL. Anyone familiar with hockey in Indy knows that we have had several minor league teams over the years, and currently have an amateur junior league team. I'm in favor of getting a pro minor league team back again. How would you make that happen?

EDIT: Bloody hell! |
As it turned out, they needed every goal.
If the B's are going to give up 5 goals a game I wouldn't count on a trip to the engravers to have my name put on Lord Stanley's hardware.

I think you're 100% correct, seen 2 BoSox titles in my lifetime, can't say the same for the B's so would be nice to see at least one SC from them before Father Time comes knocking at the door. _________________

Ben Eager
EDIT: Oh man, when Eager was sent to the box after his late 3rd period goal. One Canucks fan was nice enough to show her boobs to Eager on the penalty box cam |
She's probably showing him what the reward is for taking a penalty, if the series goes back there he'll be living in the box.

From Wiki:
1.* The Toronto Maple Leafs' first-round pick went to the Boston Bruins as the result of a trade on September 18, 2009 that sent this pick along with a second-round pick in 2010 and a first-round pick in 2011 to Boston in exchange for Phil Kessel.
2 Tyler Seguin Canada C Boston Bruins (from Toronto) |
Ooops, uh, he scored again tonight, 4 goals in 3 games after he finished the season off by getting 0 goals and one assist in his last 19 games.
B's went into Tampa and come away with a 2-0 victory, opposite of the game 2 shootout as Thomas stops 31 in the shutout as the B's regain home ice advantage, not sure if that matters as so far they're 5-1 on the road. _________________

Don't like "Hockey Afternoon in Canada" eh. Here's a little something from a guy that known for his calm, rational comments: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cM2ja_ZFFy8

I didn't even have to click the link to know it was Grapes. Dude is a total nutjob, but will gladly watch him then look at Barry Melrose's mullet any day of the week
Missed the game, but heard the refs were the star of the show. Reading some of the stats and Heatley has been a total non factor in this series, the bloody Sedins (or as Don Cherry likes to call them, the Sundins ) have more points than Heatley does in shots! Crazy.

Practice didn't make perfect for them, PP was the only thing the 'Nucks did right, they had only 13(!) shots on net the whole game, not a good save percentage for Niemi. _________________
