Dodgers lose to the Angels, 5-3, thanks to the Dodgers' worthless bullpen.

Now it's three games in San Fran with the top spot in NL West on the line. Fingers crossed Sweat

^ No Matt Kemp has finally caught up to them. Puppy Dog Eyes

Meanwhile, last night Darvish got his 10th win as the Rangers beat Detroit 10-5. Dice-K pitched his best game so far (5 2/3 innings, 6 hits, 1 run, 5 K's) but got no decision as the Red Sox beat Toronto 5-1, and the night before Kuroda evened his record at 7-7 as the Yankees beat Cleveland 7-1. Over his last four starts Kuroda is 3-1 with a 1.93 ERA. Victory! Peace!

Hiroki Kuroda pitched his third shutout of the year as the Yankees beat the White Sox 7-0. In his last seven starts he's 5-1 with 46 strikeouts against 11 walks and a 1.65 ERA.

Just think, if he'd pitched those 3 shutouts with the Dodgers, , ,

He'd have 3 no decisions Shake Head

Yu Darvish makes All-Star team

Yu Darvish is an All-Star in his first major league season.

The 25-year-old Texas Rangers pitcher from Japan earned the final spot on the American League squad thanks to the fans, who voted him in over four other players as part of the 2012 All-Star Game MLB.com Final Vote Sponsored by Firestone.

St. Louis Cardinals third baseman David Freese was picked to represent the National League in the online voting.

Darvish becomes the eighth Rangers player to make the All-Star roster this season, a club record. He beat out Jake Peavy of the Chicago White Sox, along with Baltimorefs Jason Hammel, Kansas Cityfs Jonathan Broxton and the Angelsf Ernesto Frieri.

Darvish leads all rookies with 10 wins and has a 3.59 ERA in 16 starts. He has 117 strikeouts, third-most in the AL. Hefs also third in walks with 53.

The Sox got swept by Oakland to cap off a terrible west coast road trip. Prior to the road trip they had won 11 of 14. This team seems happy being in last place. Shake Head
