"Sharehouse no Koibito" taking a big nose dive though.
I have a theory about that. I don't think I've ever seen Oizumi Yo in a good drama. I can him the "Anti-Kimtaku".

I wonder why this episode of "Tonbi" dropped so much? I saw it and thought it was pretty good.

This could be the reason for the drop:

^ Well to be fair, figure skating is very popular in Japan. A women's championship can get up to more 20% in rating.

Nice to see 'Yae no Sakura' bounce back. But it shows how much taigas have fallen if we're celebrating 17.5.

It has Osawa Takao and Kitamura Kazuki. Sadly no subs

It is about the Emishi clan up in Iwate province around the 8th/9th century. they are asked to help fight against the southern Japanese court army to save the area from being taken over and people banished.
There was an hour long documentary a couple weeks ago and Takao was talking about the making of the drama and showing the area which was verybeautiful country, where the filming was done. this is in hopes of restoring the future of this place after the earthquake.

Last Sunday just bychance I caught one episode which may have been the first It was after midnight so I imagine it will notbe seen by a lot of people. It is fascinating and at that time in history they were almost called aborigines. Kyomori did not come into history until around the 11th century did he. They weren't exactly fashion models were they but smarter than the emishi
It's a splendidcast and worth a look.
