This will be starting on 1/1/12 in the 7pm slot: http://www.wiki.d-addicts.com/Ikemen_desu_ne

Looks like they're trying to appeal to fanboys and fangirls all at the same time. I am decidely underwhelmed.

Nice... As long as there are no kooks randomly shooting at people in their cars. Sweat

Just a heads up, because the 31st is New Year's Eve, episode 44 of Gou is being aired at 6pm on Saturday night. It's moved up because the Kohauku starts at 7pm.

On Sunday nights KXLA used to show the game show "Nep League" followed by an unsubbed drama. Since the first of the year those are gone replaced by infomercials. Puppy Dog Eyes

Here's a clip of Nep League, it was a really goofy word game based game show:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyGhbV6onOY

Wow, star-studded cast... A mini-Taiga, sort of.

Soredemo, Ikite, , ,:http://jdorama.com/drama.1646.htm

Starts on Sept. 30th. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it. I usually don't watch stuff on KSCI that I've already seen, but I might watch this one again.

Looks like somebody at 18.2 is a Ryo Nishikido fan, the next two dramas are going to be

"Joker": http://www.jdorama.com/drama.1533.htm
starting December 24th

and

"Zenkai Girl": http://www.jdorama.com/drama.1634.htm
starting December 23rd.

Haven't seen either one, but of the two, "Joker" looks more promising.

"FCI Morning Eye" which airs from 12pm to 1pm weekdays will be ending on Dec. 31st.

All it says on their website is "Due to a programming change". I wonder what will go in its place? Head Scratch

Pretty much nothing but infomercials. bleh Although now I know what the lovely and talented Saki Miata is doing since JATV news stopped because she's in one of them.

On the bright side, "Aibou 10" starts on Feb. 7th. w00t!

Once 'Taira no Krapomori' ends this Saturday, they'll be showing "Hi no Sakana" (they're translating the title as 'Goldfish' but it really means 'Fish of Fire'): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hi_no_Sakana

Then on the 23rd 'Yae no Sakura' starts.

Did anybody else see it? It was pretty good!

I'm going to have to keep an eye on Machiko Ono. First, she was a total b-i-a-t-c-h in 'Mother', right now in 'Saikou no Rikon' she's goofy and funny, and in 'Hi no Sakana' she was completely different from either one of those characters. If you can hold your own with Yoshio Harada, you've got to be good!! Applaud

For some reason all of 18.2's video is in 4:3 SD format instead of 16:9 HD... Any idea why? Head Scratch

They're in 16:9 now!! w00t!

I guess they just switched over today. I don't think they were 16:9 last night, but honestly, I wasn't really paying attention. Bonk

Edit: Now (2/20/13) looks like they've switched back to 4:3. Head Scratch
