When I was over in Little Tokyo I saw this in the parking lot next to the 442nd/Go For Broke memorial:

I'm sure the artist will tell us it's a symbol of the struggle for world peace. To me it looks like a 30 foot high glob of solder somebody dropped on the parking lot.

LOL! That was exactly what I told my friend last Saturday when we were checking out the Tanabata Festival in that area...
