Wow, that's surprising she's not listed. She has been acting more and more than a lot of listed actors here, and she's still not been profiled. She's also got an awesome voice, too. Obviously, I'm a fan, hehehe.

I e-mailed this guy Genma twice about the Moto Kare cast roster and he never did anything. I know he must have seen it because I also suggested him a picture for Miyoko Asada's profile and he's put it up

Yup Sonim was in Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003 with Aya-chan and she also plays the younger sister of Mika (Yukie Nakame) in Tokyo Wankei. Her part is pretty small so far in ep 1 though. Maybe she'll get more lines later
Her major role was in MotoKare. Interestingly enough, an actor who played the "gaijin boyfriend" as his first debut in Japanese dramas ("Hakoiri Musume") has a page on JDorama.com...and Sonim doesn't? She's got some popular singles out, has a large fan-base, appears occasionally on variety programs in Japan......and she's not listed. But no-names are......that really struck me as weird, hahaha.

Sonim's part of the new dead group EE jump.The other part was goto yuuki,brother of goto maki.After the split she went solo,her first single being curry rice no onna.Untill recently she was under the production of Tsunku.When she went solo she tried out acting as well.Her singles are decent and her sales have been ok i guess.My fave song is tokyo midnight lonesliness and hontou wa ne

I think that is indeed her.
I think officially her name is Sonim. But since the Japanese have only one letter that represents the separate "-n and "-m" ending sounds, someone might have put Sonin.

Yeah, I noticed the weight differences of Sonim between the two shows. But I think she would have done fine without gaining weight for the character in Moto Kare, because I was more focused on her shyness instead.

seriously, at first i almost didn't recognize her...it wasn't until the second episode that i thought that i'd seen that actress before and then confirmed that i had seen her in kou kou kyoushi '03.....
at least i'm not trippin' in my observation.....she must have hit the
depa chika a few times to throw on the extra kilos. too many shumai will get ya...

yeah ur absolutely right...she is to be considered voluptous vis-a-vis many other female celebrities....she looks a bit atypical for a japanese woman if you ask me...but that's not a bad thing....
definitely not rail thin....maybe because she doesn't do rails of tweek on mirrored glass
