This drama features so-called Apoyan - the travel agents of Narita airport who go to great length to solve problems for tourists.
In his first TBS drama appearance as a main role, Atsushi Ito plays protagonist Keita Endo. Along with Mirei Kiriya's character Haruko Morio and others, his pain-staking efforts ensure tourists are sent on their travels problem-free.
Endo used to be in charge of tour planning in the head office but was suddenly ordered to work at Narita airport. Having joined the company in order to work in tour planning, he was disappointed to have to be serving customers at the counter. What's more, his boss at the airport Imaizumi is frivolous and unreliable, Moriya who is supposed to be his junior looks down on him, and there is only one person who treats him kindly - Baba. Endo, whose inexperience in customer service shows, slowly starts to get the hang of things from his colleagues, learning 'We are not just sending the tourists off, but making them depart with a smile'. |
