Synopsis
Bloody Monday is back for its second season! It has been 2 years now since the genius hacker, Fujimaru Takagi, stopped the terrorist attack. However, Japan is now under the threat of a nuclear bomb attack.

The Prime Minister, Akihiko Kyuujo, convenes the gTHIRD-ih members after receiving contact from Maya Orihara, the person responsible for the terrorist attack 2 years ago, that a nuclear bomb will be dropped on the city of Tokyo. Meanwhile, Fujimaru is attacked by a person calling herself gMaya Oriharah. At around this time, gTHIRD-ih finds out that J, the mastermind behind the terrorist attack 2 years ago, is boarded on a plane that is carrying the nuclear bombs. This is when the newly appointed chief of gTHIRD-ih decides to call the genius hacker Fujimaru, otherwise known as gFalconh, to duty.

Falcon returns to 'Save the Earth' with his hacking skills, but we've seen everything he can do in the first season. Hardly anything changes with Fujimaru Takagi; there is an attempt to make it seem as if he has been wholly affected by the incidents of the past (first season) but nothing has really changed with his character. Pitted against 'Spider', Falcon must use all his magic to do what he does best, but we don't find out like we did in the first season to what extent Falcon's hacking capabilities are, because it's all just glossed over in the end. Spoiler? Falcon wins, obviously, but we never find out how. I always love Miura Haruma's acting but he overdoes it it here with the screwed up faces and tears.

The main storyline is as interesting as always, but the subplots are very much less so. Kawashima Umika's Takagi Haruka runs around unsupervised around Tokyo with her so-called boyfriend God-knows doing what but contributing very little to the main story; Narimiya Hiroki is underused as the sinister J who drops hints that he knows what's going on but in the end just suffers from sister-complex. Satoh Takeru's Kujoh Otoya plays a main role in the development of the story but becomes redundant in the end.

There are some shockers and interesting twists; the first episode was a blast, and I quite liked the emotional and psychological aspects of Spider's sob-story, but it's not really enough to want to recommend this drama to anyone.

Even more tense and exciting than the first season however not as good as it. Its pretty much the same plot, fix everything before the time runs out and the world gets destroyed. Since they pressed more tension to it it worked and you didn't get bored during the whole show. Its pretty scary when everythings fucked up in it and you cant trust anyone. However somethings are very predictable, happenings which make you think the good people are in fact the bad ones are clearly just to confuse you, you can easily figure out whats real and whats fake. I do also have to say that as well as the first season I am pretty slightly disappointed about the ending. It confused me and was to be correct somewhat lame. The twist and turns get a bit over the top and things just dont logically work out, but I guess its ok compared to other dramas where you always get hints about the truth, at least its exciting in this! The first episodes are by the way very tragic and something did actually happen which I didn't expect although I am not sure if the creators would be able to pull something like that off in other episode than the first one, if something really tragic happen it must take place in the first episode to not make the audience too disappointed in the middle of the show, which I found quite chicken. It would be so much more drama and action and to be honest quite more realistic as well if it happened through the show. About the actors all I can say is GREAT! Although I am pretty tired of the good people who eventually become bad always do the "psycho-who-just-do-it-for-fun"-act. Overall recommendable and thrilling!

I just about died of happiness when I found out there is a second season of this show - I love Blood Monday!! It is really intense, dramatic, and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Miura Haruma is an awesome, emotionally charged actor, and as the lead he is able to carry the whole show basically on his own. Also some interesting, ambiguous characters and relationships, such as between J and his doctor. On the downside, a lot of the plot feels kinda contrived/shocking just for the sake of shocking/doesn't necessarily make logical sense, but if you suspend your disbelief a bit, it is nevertheless an enjoyable ride. I like. :D

for me, its better than season 1...its got a bit more depth...the characters have really grown...wait, check that, falcon hasnt REALLY grown that much, actually, everyone has grown except him..I think the show is spectacular...the ending was pretty good for me...it could have been bad but falcon really needs to grow if theres going to be another season...i dont want to see him doing the same shit every season.

Awesome start, but lacked a bit in the second half. A few lose ends and the end wasn't quite convincing. The new characters (mainly the terrorists) lacked in depth, but the old ones were still nice to watch and played by a fantastic cast. What I missed most was a change in mood. Even at the end the mood only kept dripping with an air of hopelessness...

Watched it because I enjoyed the first one but the plot is much worse and the boss, "spider" is not scary at all.... Maybe the fact that there is no virus in this one contributes to the pretty boring aspect of the drama. Not bad bad but without watching the first bloody monday i would have given a 4 at best.

some plot holes, but very thrilling and a nice sequel of the first drama! There is more "emotion" in it than the first one. Don't miss the two Bloody Monday dramas!
