1. Not bad a drama, worth watching once but probably [Rating: 8/10]
I can understand other user's fruastration with this drama. BUT nobody can play a better role than Maki in this drama. When Junya tried to play retard and made Maki cry, i felt like killing him on the spot if I could.

I wouldn't say this drama is monotone, just slow pace. Not good to watch if you're gonna watch it all at one go but on a daily basis. There are parts where you'll be tempted to keep watching the next episode and there are parts where you feel that the plot is a bit dry. To sum it up, this is not a drama that can make you cry. It's a very mild drama, watch an episode everyday after work or school perhaps.

Overall, an average drama. I'm not used to seeing Maki in this role but she did an excellent job. Other actors to commend are Fukushi Seiji and Hiroki.

2. so disappointing!!! [Rating: 1/10]
i started watching innocent love because i knew that the writer of this drama was the same person who wrote last friends. i was expecting a really interesting and exciting plot like last friends, but this story is just ridiculous and unrealistic. to sum it all up, this drama sucked!!! don't waste time watching this.

3. Fantastically ridiculous [Rating: 9/10]
There's no holding back with the plot in this drama. I guess it was supposed to be believable, which it isn't by a long way. But somehow you want everything to turn out in the end, even if you need gusts of wind at critical moments to help them out.

I've always like drama with mystery undertone; like whudunit, why etc. This drma had that. and it also keeps me 'intrigued' to find out the truth, but that's that. while the plot, the twist can be pretty interesting laid down in words, it fails on screen. maybe it's just me. but I find it to be unrealistic, melodramatic like few reviews had pointed out. The hero's acting is very weak, I know he didn't have much experience in acting but still... I actually like his smile, but sometimes it seems forced. most of his acting seems forced actually. Maki's acting is nothing special either, just average. some characters seems so out of this world. so many insensitive people in the drama is also making it seems like a very old drmas where prejudice and awareness level were not like how it is today. the drama is the kind that I 'would' like; the story etc, but on screen - it fails me. And I found Kanon towards Junya in the beginning, Mizuki towards Junya, and Junya towards Kiyoka TOO OBSESSIVE. they lumped lots of obsessive people in a drama, nice... *sarcasm*

Mwaaaah... I don't really know if I enjoyed this or not. I just can't help myself thinkin Horikita Maki can't act. She's all cute and that stuff but I don't believe her acting, she's either too much or just dull depending on what's happening. I'm so disappointed since when I first saw here in Nobuta wo Produce I LOVED her....The drama also had a... "depressing aura" through the series which kinda made it frustrating to watch it. Also too dramatic, especially the last episode where they rushed and squeezed in a lot of unnecessary scenes. Developed real slow as well. Narimiya Hiroki is someone who made the drama worth watching. He's just so skilled in every role he play, he maaaybe could have taken his character out a bit more, but nothing to complain about! Personally I don't like when Christianity plays a big role in Jdramas, is it just me or do everyone seem to become ultra kind? Weird...

Oh well, I guess you'll survive watching this, it's not THAT boring, it can just take a little time watching it through.

Interesting premise, love the mystery, but tends to be overly melodramatic. Also, the story seems to develop way too slowly; just watching the first episode bored me out of my mind. Nonetheless, the mystery of who really killed Kanon's parents intrigued me so I skipped all the in between episodes and went straight to watching the second-to-last episode after the first. Very glad I made that decision... An interesting side note: the opening credit scenes appear VERY similar to those of Last Friends, complete with shots of the main characters with their assigned emotions and an English word beside them as they portray that emotion. This observation may not be so surprising considering the two dramas share the same scriptwriter. However, the similarity is practically screaming Last Friends the Sequel =P

This show is a strange parallel universe to Last Friends. They are both super melodramatic, but where Last Friends succeeds in spite of it, this fails because of it. Last Friends used one of Utada Hikaru's best songs, this one of her worst. Last Friends ended simply and beautifuly, this in an over the top train wreck where my feelings have been burnt out and I no longer care. On another note this show has a creepy christian vibe thing going on, which is not something I expect from J drama. Overall I suppose it's not really that horrible but it demands comparison to its predecessor, and falls so short its almost sad.

Okay I should watch the whole drama before adding it....but I'm bored.
So it's Horkita Maki so duh have to watch =D and Hiroki<3 but as a small role. The guy I have never seen before is actually a very good actress... me like. The story is wonderfull and for Maki to take this roll is good it suits her. I'm waiting for ep 4 now can't wait. The opening is soooo good, it reminds med a LOT of last friends opening, the chracters, melo song, a word by the persons side describing their emotion haha awesome^^

Props to Uchida Yuki and Kashii Yuu. I must say Uchida Yuki blew me away with her acting, really really convincing. Sad to say Horikita Maki and Kitagawa Yuujin's acting is really just mediocre, I expected more out of Maki :(

I would've rated this drama higher if not for what happened at the beginning of the last epsiode, too tragic for my liking, as expected from the writer of Last Friends!! Still worth a watch as the plot twists were nicely done and not too exaggerating. Nice theme song too.
7. Comments by marspeach [Rating: 6/10]
If you thought Last Friends was a disappointment, wait until you see this! Talk about over-the-top! The acting wasn't even as good as in that show. The two leads, once again, were the worst. Kitagawa Yuujin was HORRIBLE and Maki was only passable. I only rated it as high as I did because it was so laughably bad.
8. Comments by Nermal [Rating: 6/10]
Inoccent love was actually worst than expected. The storyline was way too farfetched at times, way too predictable at others.. and quite frankly not really well tied in together. The good cast of actors is pretty much all this drama had...

6.5

Ok, I hoped that christian asexual puritan girls as the heroines died together with jane austen, but I can see I was wrong. Japan can make a trend out of something western world tossed aside as closed minded hundred years ago... good job!

Well i understand whats wrong with this drama, i agree with almost all of the negative comments in this forum, but this is not the Worst drama i ever seen.
Theme Song: Eternally-Drama Mix [Utada Hikaru]: 9 (Fortunately good song XD)

Not as bad as Last Friends LoL. The ending just went too far. The whole thing was pretty dramatic but it had some good plot twists. Just.. my goodness.. I really hope that there isn't a new trend for more shows like Last Friends.

Since long, a dorama with the "must continue to watch" feeling. It's especially interesting to watch the story unfold. But Horikita's acting is not that great and in the end the dorama lost its drive.
13. Comments by yurifly [Rating: 7/10]
7.5 for the suspense. The ending was a bit blah or otherwise I would rate it as an 8. I am not a big fan on Horikita Maki and her character certainly comes off as stalker-like in the beginning.

I do not think that people deserve to be unhappy..and I also think that the truth helps people to understand the situation and overcome any obstacle just like the journalist said..

Very slow story line to develop. Kinda 'old school style' drama that takes a while, but ends well. Not sure if it was romance or suspense. Eerie tones but overall well done.

Maki's acting was great!!! and the songs were beautiful...but at times it seemed to go real slow. Maki still my favorite actress, though! Even if this wasn't her greatest work.
17. Comments by PaperCaged [Rating: 6/10]
This drama was incredibly unrealistic and a bit draggy at times. The characters were all either strange or just horrible, but at least it was still entertaining.

I really enjoyed this, wonderful cast especially Narimiya Hiroki and Yuki Uchida. Kashii Yu was also good. They probably didn't need the last episode.

a lot like Last Friend (maybe cause the same writer), Maki's acting really pure and sweet but i dont like the male lead actor, his acting is horrible

Great from start to finish. Very deep and emotional, with great actors and very interesting plot-twists. It's not perfect, but good enough for a 10.
22. Comments by Signo [Rating: 8/10]
Better than expected! The plot has some nice twists and Horikate acted pretty well. So at all it's a good show, if you put the destiny-part aside.
23. Comments by HHND [Rating: 5/10]
Probably the most disappointed J-drama I've seen. The plot was weak and not fully developed with a terrible ending, the cast was not much better.
24. Comments by oonqy [Rating: 6/10]
is not as heart-wrenching as thought.
The best part is the suspense and twist in the plot.
Real sweet and plain romance ~

Too much "I bless you" for my taste. I do not like to get the church too close to me, lol.
I enjoyed the twist however.
