| Kumiko Yoshikawa (Yuki Uchida) joins the Big Wing company at Tokyo International Airport. It' s her first day and she is full of enthusiasm, but that leads her into trouble. She gives an old lady who is running late for her plane a piggy-back to the departure lounge only to delay the flight's departure even more. Then, while away returning a lost wallet, her counter is robbed. However, Big Wing general manager, Shoko Hanamura (Yoko Nogiwa) sees potential in Kumiko' s dedication to her customers. | | TBS |

My sister told me that the only great thing about this dorama is Kassy's appearance (apparently she likes him because he's handsome and stuff), but that's about it. Yet, when I got to watch it myself I can't stand how wrong she was. May be we have different tastes!
Anyway, its a very heartwarming story. The sensitive and easily touched Kumi-chan is so irressistable and full of energy when it comes to helping people. Her smile is so kawaai too! As the story goes, it unravelled the life and emotion of Yoshikawa Kumiko.
This was my second date (as in second series) with Uchida Yuki and her first as a starting role and she didn't waste any time to make a really good impression. Kassy was good as well especially everytime when he said
"YOSHIKAWA!!"

this is a mediocre-class drama. o-o not so much of a plot (a very weak one, for tat matter). just ur basic 1-story-1-ep plotline. even the mini-stories are not tat compelling either.
but i must say the stand-out feature of this drama is the 2 main leads -- kashiwabara & uchida. ^.^; coz they're both incredibly good-looking. wished they were couples in real life. most of the cast (i wont name the particular odd-one-out here) were above decent-looking too. :)

This drama is really worth buying and watching.. honto niii!!! This drama is a combination of hillarious, sweet and happy moments.. a good drama .. really !!
I love Kumi-chan in this story.. she has a big heart and captivating smile.. when I watched her help all those people.. all those troubles for helping people.. that is a very rare trait in todays people.. don't you think?
For those who wants to watch this drama.. feel free... it is more than you expected.. I really think so..

Great escape from normal dorama, but episode/chapter 8 was boring. The story changes from one dorama to a brand new one too much (every episode) and the girl that is supposed to be in the lead role has a horrible voice and buckteeth (but the guy in the main role fits perfectly.. not a bad looking guy and acted well). Yuki Uchida is a joy to watch - pretty, cute and good acting...an all rounder. The different story lines in each episode were heart warming and real. This was a pretty decent drama with a lot of overacting done on Uchida Yuki's part as she played the energetic and Big Wing loving Yoshikawa. There was not really any consistency as you went from episode to episode and the stories in each episode weren't that compelling to begin with.
Kashiwabara Takashi does a wonderful job playing the young head of the Customer Service division of Big Wing as does Uchida Yuki. However, sometimes I found that the overzealous scenes depicted by her were a little more annoying than touching or funny.

I loved this drama so much!!!!It was so funny, I laughed out loud every episode! Also, it had nice story plots, which made you feel fuzzy inside! I wasn't expecting it to be that great. I LOVED IT! I definitely recommend this drama, and gave it a 10 rating! It's for everyone! You can watch it with your family, or anyone! And the actors were superb too! Usually I would get annoyed with characters like Yoshikawa Kumiko (Uchida Yuki) but she was one of my favorite! Sad to see this heart warming dorama not have good ratings when it aired. It's quite sappy once the episode is near the end, but it leaves you with a good feeling. It takes a look at the service department of the airport, something that's kind of neglected and not seen as important as airline pilots. Uchida Yuki's character may come off as overly hyper and naive, but that's what makes this enjoyable. Kashiwabara Takashi did a good job as the supervisor. Initially, I watch this drama all because of Takashi Kashiwabara. I don't have high expectations towards this drama mainly because I assume that a drama about airports will be something boring. BUT, after several episodes, I find myself hooked into it! AND it's not what I expected. True enough, it talks about airports and stuff about it, but it has also taught viewers about friendship and some morality stuff. Uchida Yuki might be blur at times but I find her really funny! The story is okay. I watch it coz of Kassy of course, and he is extremely gorgeous in here. He looks very handsome, cool, and soooo perfect. His hairstyle is perfect, really suitable for his face, makes him more awesome. And he looks really good in that suit.

It may be a bit cheesy or cliche at times, I love watching Big Wing. I found most of the human stories engaging and sometimes very moving. This is one series that I wish it hadn't ended so soon. It's been a long time since I felt like this. Uchida Yuki as Yoshikawa Kumiko is so likeable, and the rest of the cast were very good too, delivering complete characters even when there were not an awful lot for them to do. Uchida Yuki's the star of this story, sort of like a dorama version of the French film "Amelie". She's up there with Matsu Takako in terms of being off-the-chart kawaii. Kashiwabara Takashi is charming as the section chief. Nogiwa Yoko kicks ass as the GM of Haneda's Big Wing. Just finished watching this recently coz my friend found the vcd for me. I watched a bit of it on SCV but miss out quite a lot. Kassy is just as cool and handsome as ever in the show. The story revolves around a new stewardess learning her ways in Haneda airport, her constant scrapes and her not-quite-so-platonic relationship with her supervisor. Yuki Uchida's smile is powerful! makes my day!
watched this show coz of Kassy... and was not disappointed. he can really act! and he manged to get out of the usual "cold-on-the-outside-kind-in-the-inside" role.... and he is no longer the victim in love... really interesting role for him.
and its indeed amazing to have an airport like the one protrayed in the show. wonderful service, and a lot of values learnt from each episode.
