Wakui Emi is always exceptional in any drama she stars in, and this is no exception. Takeuchi Yuko plays a role that is very different from what I am used to seeing her in, which is neat, but she doesn't suit it real well, but that may just be my bias. I am so tired of plots were people get cancer, but this is probably one of the better ones. There is a certain realism to this drama that I find quite refreshing, but it's the type of thing that a lot of people could find boring. Anyways, it's a bit the opposite of most dramas in that it gets better as it goes, rather than worse, in the beginning I thought it was bad, but I was pleasantly surprised. |
