Synopsis
The story centers around three sisters living together, though they have very different personalities, leading them to believe they have different mothers. One day, they each receive a letter from their dead father, with each indicating the title of an erotic novel. Believing that the letters are hints about their mothers, they begin reading the books, and before they know it, they start imagining themselves as the novels' heroines.

Basically a series of dramatisations of sections of famous Japanese poems and prose from the last 100 years of a little more, ahem, adult nature. Nothing too gratuitous, and the quality varies wildly, but when it works it has more than once reminded me of Kar Wai Wong's excellent film In the Mood for Love. The linking story doesn't quite succeed and only really works in the final episode.

watching right now. The story doesn't seem very interesting despite unconventional plot. They try to make it very racy/scandalous but yet it is just tame. And acting is not so impressive from the cast. It's just so amazing seeing how Kichise Michiko eyes can be devoid of any expressions even though im a fan

It was somewhat difficult to get into. The stories told in each episode got better though and I liked the twist in the end.

Gets better as the drama progresses despite the brevity of the episodes. Konno Mahiru gets some funny lines.
