Synopsis
Seishu Hanaoka is a surgeon in the end of Edo period, who succeeded in breast-cancer operation with full anesthesia for the first time in the world. Based on Sawako Ariyoshi�fs novel, the drama portraits conflicts between his mother Otsugi and his wife Kae—two women who loved and supported him.
