This wastes no time and jumps straight into it. Straight into a pile of bad acting, writing, directing, etc. etc. I find it's pretty much bad all around, but in particular I was put off by the shows indecisiveness about whether it wants to attempt to portray supernatural phenomena or not. Most of the time they have it so that the main character is searching for something stupid like a Tengu or a Kappa and while that ends up not being true of course, the mystery still ends up solved due to her. That's not a bad way to handle things, with maybe a final supernatural event at the end, but here they randomly throw in ghosts coming out of walls and stuff, and then switch back to usual stuff. It's bad. If I try to force myself to find something good here, I guess a lot of the urban legends are interesting, especially since I was already aware of most of them, and surprisingly I caught myself laughing here and there. Still it's mostly all bad. |

If you like to stare at Nagasawa Masami's legs then this is the drama for you.I actually do find the supernatural and urban legends interesting, this is more scooby do than the x-files , well it was old man Jenkins after and not the Tengu or the Kappa. And I would have got away with it if it weren't for you meddling kids. |

I love urban legends and I love how it's incorporated inthis detective story, and all the quirky characters! Enjoyed it from start to finish. Looking forward to Toshi Densetsu no Onna2, when she returns to Japan after being with the FBI in the US! |

Unique story in each case and giving out some knowledge about Japan Urban Legend lol... Repetition of dorama storyline was unavoidable though... |
