Synopsis
The series features Ueno Juri taking on five roles in five episodes. As the title suggests, each episode involves a bag of some kind, such as a guitar case or a mysterious delivery package.

Chapter 1: Guitar Case no Onna/Guitar Case Girl
Ueno is a part-time street performer who sings and plays guitar. When a series of Robin Hood-style thefts begin to occur around Tokyo by a woman with guitar case, police suspect Ueno of committing the crimes.

Chapter 2: HOPE
Miyuki is a struggling animator who works late everyday, and is constantly scolded by her superiors. One night the elevator she gets on suddenly stops leaving her trapped...

Chapter 3: Tonari no Tonari no Akira/My Neighbor's Neighbor Akira
Misuzu is in a relationship with an older man (a university professor) and may be pregnant with his child. When her young neighbor suddenly appears on her doorstep, she is reminded that she is moving onto the next stage of her life.

Chapter 4: Tabi no Aida/On the Road
In this chapter, we follow Ueno Juri (as herself) as she takes a break from shooting Chapter 1 and ventures out to the town from her childhood.

Chapter 5: Aruasa, Hinata wa Totsuzen ni.../One Morning Hinata Suddenly...
Hinata wakes up on the day of the Tanabata Festival, which also happens to be her birthday, with a deep buzzing in her ear...

1. Good Vehicle for Ueno Juri [Rating: 7/10]
I liked it. It was a good vehicle for Ueno to show off her acting ability, but even moreso for the writers/directors to really fashion something creative and compelling.

As for my favourite, I liked Chapter Three. Ifm not sure if itfs because there was more to it than just Ueno, therefore more characters to get attached to (or at least have the option to) or because it seemed to be more layered than the others.

I found the episodes too short to make an impact, and therefore all five episodes are pretty forgettable. I wish they had given Juri-chan a bit more variety in the characters. She seemed to act the same for all roles.

Glitch: In Chapter Two (HOPE), Miyuki enters the elevator and plays with her wallet. When shefs finally able to leave the elevator, the wallet is filmed on the ground – left behind by her. When she returns later, and inevitably decides to use the stairs instead, the same elevator door opens. There is no wallet within.

Well, that was clearly something else. I liked the different experimental styles of the episodes, some clearly more than others. This rather felt like 5 mini-films than a drama, so it's hard to judge. If you expect a common drama and don't enjoy experimental stuff, sometimes even without text, don't watch it, you won't like it.

Waaaaay too artsy for my taste, as well as for its own good. No plot, no sense, lotsa weird scenes and camera angles/movements. One more victim of the nefarious influence of "nouvelle vague" and "cahiers du cinéma". Its only redeeming quality? It consists of only 5 eps, and short ones at that...

Episodes are far much closer to short experimental films (quite good btw) than to any dorama. I did like them (I must rewatch the last one to fully understand it) but if you're looking for a typical dorama, this one is not for you. I didn't quite like Ueno Juri, I feel she acts always the same.

It was okay. It was interesting to watch Ueno in five different stories, but neither really made an impact and therefore each episode is forgettable.

At least they were consistent. At the end of every episode I was saying to myself, "What the hell was THAT all about???"

Anything that Juri Ueno stars in is a 10 in my book.
