A really sweet dorama. To be honest I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did... maybe that's why I did enjoy it. When I start watching a show with high expectations I generally come out disappointed.
All the characters were likable suprisingly a female character in this show was my favourite *shock horror* and not only a female but the other woman (kind of) I really liked Chiko I thought she was adorable.
I was happy to see Matsuda Shota in another dorama, I looked forwards to seeing him in other stuff after HanaDan and here I found my chance (though a complete suprise when he walked into the show... but a nice suprise XD)
Aibu Saki was likable I really liked her character as did I like Hayami he did a great job as the lead (their characters were sweet together)

The first episode is really boring... Then the show starts to get a lil bit interesting and the last few episodes u get the feeling that whoever did "Regatta" could use one more episode. Not the endind is confusing or anything like that but it feels like they had to make the last few episodes shorter (they dont even show the most important race of this dorama.... only the results). And those "special effects" (also in the last few episodes) were really unnecessary (not to mention lame). And thats a shame... the plot of Regatta is quite enjoyable... the casting is ok (nothing memorable but they put quite a nice acting)... even the OST is good but the last episodes (and the first one) just ruin this show. |

Though nothing exceptional, it was rather enjoyable! Some have likened it to 'Ganbatte Ikkimashoi' but save for rowing and Aibu Saki, the similarities are slim to none. The story moved quickly and the acting pretty good. It definitely didn't leave me bored too much as I finished it in two days. And besides, Mocomichi looks pretty DAMN HOT all tan and muscular. ;] |

I liked it. good actors, not mokomichi though, he cant really act, but it was interesting, i heard it was so unpopular that they just made it 9 episodes? well if thats true, you will notice, it seemed too short at the end. i liked the loverelationship between makoto and mi-chan, very cute! and taro yamamoto rocks why world! |

Cute, but predictable, not so much impact in scenes that are to be suspensful. Mokomichi and Matsuda are a pretty nice combo though, but I just like Matsuda ^o^ Not too different from a lot of love stories, like Ganbatte Ikimashoi, but it's nice to watch if you want that causual love story... |

Quite predictable and boring... Mocomichi is so tanned, he looks burnt. But still hot. XD Overly nice characters like Misao drive me crazy. Actually the leads Makoto & Misao irritate me a little. I like Hitsuji and Chieko much more, they should get together. |

Nice drama involving the dream of making it to the olympics. Of course some of the major events were never filmed. The ending had big time jumps which made it seem sorta rushed. |
