Tabe Mikako is great as usual. The rest of the cast is decent as well, But it's also an absolutely stereotypical role for Tabe Mikako (i.e. Deka Wanko's sniffing detective), starring in a throwaway plot. I don't care that it's based on Higashino Keigo novels. I don't care that everyone has an Osaka accent. Nothing was funny. Nothing was interesting. I completely forgot about this show's existence the second I finished watching.
And what's up with all the food smeared faces this season. I watched this right after Hana No Zubora Meshi so I feel like I've been treated to a buffet of food face. |
