Synopsis
They say we all have one unforgettable love in our life. For Eri, he is Shuji. Tokiwa Takako stars as a dancer whose career is cut short by an accident. And Fukuyama Masaharu plays the love of her life. Although they are strongly drawn to each other, circumstances conspire to tear them apart. Still, fate brings them back together time and again like a bittersweet refrain.

1. Nice^_^ [Rating: 7/10]
Meguri Ai is my first Japanese Drama after a long period of vacancy. Compared to the dramas from other country, Meguri Ai seems like suggoiiiii!!!!! Yet, when I'm already into the story, somehow I felt that the story is being lengthened unnecessarily. Or maybe it was the characters which were very undecisive and so thick not to realize from the very start that nothin' less than a true love can last a marriage a lifetime. Eri and Shiuji have parted like six times in the story, for crying out loud!!! I counted it!!! The many parting times make the story somehow lose the suspense a bit. How can somebody be so thick not to realize, after years of parting, that nothin' will fill up their empty spaces but their true love?!! And after you realize it, how can you let it go?!! Thankfully, it's only a movie with a happy ending, so the script crosses their paths from time to time, nomatter how hard they try to be separated from each other. I like Eri ^_^ Her beauty seems to be very fragile and vulnerable, yet she's got an unbeatable spirit and toughened zest. It's a pity that she doesn't include God in her life, I believe if she did, she won't need to undergo so many pains.

2. I would rate it 7.5 [Rating: 7/10]
I am a fan of Tokiwa san, so I bought this to add to my collection. She gives a good performance as the woman obsessed with the male lead, but it gets old pretty fast. No matter how hostile a relationship they have we are so to believe that they can't live without each other. The guys character is just not that interesting. I have known couples that have this same type of abrasive relationship that might even marry but it enevitably ends bad. Obsessed or not anyone with ounce of sense, in real life would kick this guy to curb and go on. Unless you are a super Tokiwa fan you probably want to skip this.

3. A Great drama about missed chances [Rating: 9/10]
I realy like this drama it was well acted but there are many dramas like this one out there. its basicly about two people that break up and meet break up and meet agian but never seem to get back to how they were before when they had their relationship. They let too many things get in they way work and other things they even break up becuase they think they are holding the other person back from dreams or happieness but thy are only turly happy when they are with each other. They ment to be together but they think too much.
Can they truly find happieness watch and see.

4. Get a Clue [Rating: 9/10]
Meguri Ai takes the form of a romantic song with a sad refrain... the characters Eri and Shuji are in love with each other, but have difficulty in realizing and expressing their true feelings. Because of this misunderstanding, and various career and personal opportunities that arise for each of them, Eri and Shuji keep forcing themselves apart. Despite all this, by some twise of fate, they still keep running into each other...

5. Great Love Story [Rating: 9/10]
I really liked this dorama, ya it does get a bit draggy at the end but the beginning and middle are pretty good and I kept routing
Fukuyama Masaharu and Tokiwa Takako to end up together. However the ending left me a bit disappointed, but still a great love story and one of my favourite doramas.

6. great! [Rating: 9/10]
They look compatible inside the show, but unfortunately, abit too lengthy because their story lasted for 7 years and there is too many break-ups in between, the theme songs by Masha is fantastic, very nice. But still enjoyed the drama alot.

This drama is very boring even the story about people lifes. The story line is to complicated and nonsense. The music is good but it seems that the music is missing in this drama.

The leads are very good, and the drama itself has its good (heck, even very good) moments; unfortunately, that's partly ruined by the many obvious, repetitive, forced or simply silly scenes whose only "raison d'etre" seems to be to stretch into 12 episodes what could have been much better developed in half the eps or maybe even in a tv movie. Ironically enough, for a drama which focuses so much on missed opportunities, that's exactly what it ends up being, imho: a missed opportunity. :/

its a love story where.... takako plays this very cherry-like gril who loves to dance... meets a photographer....fell in love and love last till she decided to leave for new york to dance in the accademy.... later she got involved into a accident and she couldn't dance anymore... she met mr. doc....i guess she went out wif him... then fukuyama played the man that was about to get married to his employers daughter... end up in a divorce and in the end married takako..... his one true love

The first 2 episodes were okay. I thought the plot will start to develop into something really interesting to watch. However, how disappointing! This drama gets really draggy and I was sitting there hoping it will end soon. I never like to give ratings below 6 because somehow, I know there are efforts behind all these (Shomuni was an exceptional case because I really dislike it). Well, the ending was a satisfactory one. Watch it if you people like Tokiwa Takako and Fukuyama Masaharu.

I love Fukuyama and his acting was great. I though it was too long at times and repetitive, but I guess that's the whole point of the show. There are parts of the show a little dark for my taste (different than Heaven's Coins 2 type of dark) - ex. the doctor's "obsession" with Eri. I definitely prefer Under the Same Roof!!

This is my all time favorite! The first time i watched it, it seemed long and complicated with lots of painful moments between the two, but each time i watched it again, i saw more into it, at least for me, i can relate to this romance a lot. I re-watch it once every few years and it still is my favorite!
7. Comments by kaonashi [Rating: 6/10]
Since I almost fell asleep just by reading the synopsis, I expected this series to be boring as hell. So I guess things could only get better & in the end it wasn't THAT bad. And the music was pretty ok. But it sure was a draggy love story, definitely not a drama you can finish in one day.

I tink this is the 1st Jap drama i have watched on Jet TV. Quite a nice one coz i can still remember the storyline after so many years, but such a pity didn't manage to catch the final episode. Dunno the outcome. I tink it's quite a draggy story coz the time span in the show is quite long.

An adult drama that deals with romance. A strong relationship never dies and you never forget someone you really love.

I love the very human and realistic aspect of this drama (up to a certain point). Predictable but still very nice to watch! (Fukuyama Masaharu... kakkoi!!)

I probably would give it a "10" if I remembered it better. It was so long ago! A roller-coaster romance, bringing you up and down each episode, all the while screaming, "Just tell her you love her!!!" Plus, a totally awesome soundtrack, courtesy of Fukuyama Masaharu.

tut..tut..talk abt twist of fate..this two forlorn lovers that cd never settle down happily with each other..Masha's character is a bit cold..sometimes i wish i cd beat him up to his senses and Takako is just too nice.. that's why the end is like that, aiyah!!

unfortunately lasted a little to long (in 'their' time), 7 years to develop their relationship? this drama had lots of moments of joy, sadness, frustation, pure touching moments etc. great acting with convincing characters, but, a little to long.

Actually its kinda crazy when they seperate and then meet again. Almost seven times. What an unbelievable fate. However Fukuyama acted very well. Takako too. I like to watch her dancing. This dorama is actually not that bad . Kinda funny too.

The pairing of Fukuyama Masaharu and Tokiwa Takako was great but the writers should have stopped at ep 6. The story goes in circles and it's a roller coaster of a ride. Sometimes toooo unbelievable. Very sappy.

I liked both Tokiwa Takako and Fukuyama Masaharu in this drama. Also loved the guy who played the proprietor of Refrain! He was terrific. Story kinda came and went but overall it was an all right drama.

Interesting drama for sure and really can be frustrating near the middle with the reunion between the two. However it was agood thing they met up again and well got into storing the whole mess lol

I brought this series because of Masha and Tokiwa. I like the drama even though it was a little boring in the middle of it. I just think it is still a good drama with my favorite people in it.

After a great first episode, everything just went down. I mean, DOWN. Just think about it, Masha and Tokiwa? Great pairing but in a drama like this??! What a dissapointment
19. Comments by pcmodem [Rating: 9/10]
Shuji's an idiot in this dorama. I'd have never let someone like Eri go, have married her by the end of the 1st episode. Of course, then you'd only have a 1 episode dorama!

Their relationship just drag too long, with so many stupid misunderstanding that happened between the two at so many different part of time make it more stupid...

I like the drama but the ending was so lame despite the loooonnng refrain. Naturally Masha is cute and obviously taller than everyone in the cast. :-)

The journey of their love story is too long to get into the climax. I don't particularly like it.
