Synopsis

The story is about an unlikely friendship between two women. This intimate look at two lives chronicles their struggle with love, loyalty, and fulfillment. Two women with seemingly different outlooks on life come together against all odds in a fragile attempt to seek out the best of what they have to offer each other and themselves. Can their unexpected friendship survive affairs of the heart? An honest tale of two women unfolds with an end as uncertain as the friendship which drew them together.

1.	Greatest Friendship drama I've ever seen. [Rating: 10/10] The story is simple. It's about two women from different background who loves the same man. They have to struggle over their conciousness to choose between friendship or sacrifice it to fight over the same man. The drama is very touching and the good casts compliments the story which blends into a perfect mix of love story and friendship. Highly recommended. By the way, the soundtrack is so good.

2.	All-time great [Rating: 10/10] One of the best of all time! Whereas it did not have the drawing power of any of the Honami Suzuki dramas, Narumi Yasuda's acting convinces of why she is a legendary idol. Her partnership with Akina Nakamori is convincing as the odd couple who in the end sees that their friendship is the only cure against betrayals by men and abandonment by other people. Watch it - you'll enjoy the story.

3.	Sugao no Mama de [Rating: 10/10] I saw this drama years ago, and have seen many others since, but this one stands out in my mind as the best. I loved it, and highly recommend it to anyone else.

1.	mizune Unfortunately, old = forgotten. There was no megastar cast (I think this drama really launched Yasuda Narumi's career, and while Nakamori Akina was well known, she was primarily just a singer at the time), but this story of love and friendship is just so well done that it can easily hold its own among the best being produced today. Plus, it is not overly melancholic or sappy, like a lot of the most popular dramas of the period. The music by Kome Kome Club is fantastic as well.
2.	gaijinmark The first in what would turn out to be a long line of excellent dramas from the pen of Eriko Kitagawa.
