This show benefits from the great chemistry between the characters and Sorimachi's remarkable acting skills.
The story revolves around a troublemaker cop and his temporary trainee, a young, soon-to-be superior officer who completes his final three months of training by joining a regular police department.
As the story unfolds, we learn more about every character (even though I have to admit that having someone like Sorimachi's character as a subordinate would be my death. He's taking too much and too many risks, often acts impulsive and in the act endangers not only his colleagues but also ruins the one or other long-planned mission). The cases they solve are mostly light-weight, but there's enough space to throw in the one or other deeper conversation. |

It's a good series, but nothing more than that. Sorimachi Takeshi and Oshio Manabu do a good job of teaming up and working together for this series. I liked the different portrayals of each officer and their way of approaching problems. The crimes that they had to solve were rather shallow, but the acting made up for it. However, while watching this I couldn't help but think that this was GTO but as a police officer.
The stories in the series itself sometimes last around 2-3 episodes. Another good series to watch off and on and isn't too addicting. |

veryy good acting from both "police". anyway... is that real we can get a cop just like Tachibana..???? hehehe i don't think so.. but combination from both side (sorimachi & Oshio) is great... i ean they can how us the diffrent side of thinking for try to solve a case... 1 always do what ever he thinks is got to do- without thinking at first..... + emotional.. and 1 is always think about the theory that he learn before.... hehhe... but i enjoy this dorama. ;) |

Slightly above average. One of Sorimachi's weaker dramas. I watched it and didn't regret it. But let's say that it wouldn't kill me if I didn't watch it again. Just missing too much I think. Not enough comedy, not enough action, and no romantic interludes at all. What am I trying to say? No cute kawaii girls at all. And that's a must for me. Sorry :-) |

To tell the truth, I didn't fall in love with this drama instantly, but rather, it [very slowly] grew on me. It can get pretty funny at times, which is surprising for such a serious subject. Overall, I felt the series to be interesting, but is more of a guy's series than one for female viewers. I think my father enjoyed it far more than I did! |

THIS DORAMA IS QUITE INTERESTING 'COZ THE COMBINATION OF TWO ACTOR SORAMACHI & OSHIO. THEY REALLY GOT CHEMISTRY!! THEY CAN ACT TOGETHER VERY WELL. I LIKE THE WAY OSHIO CALLING TACHIBANASAN !!!! HE HE HE....
ANYWAY OSHIO LOOK SO COOL IN COAT. HE SO KAWAII.... I HOPE THAT THEY WILL PAIR TOGETHER AGAIN IN ANOTHER SEQUEL MAYBE.......... :-P |

The phase of the 2 first cds are quite slow..only until the 3rd cd did the story catch my interest. Sorimachi's role in this drama (fortunately) did not dissapoint me and I really like Oshio Manabu's role. New guy in the force and trying to look cool...very macho in a quiet way. But it was dissapointing for the remaining cast... |

thought this one would be boring, but no, it turned out pretty interesting cos sorimachi played mostly against type. a good supporting cast, and sorimachi seems to have grown comfortably into his manhood and no longer looks like he's been chewed up and spat out by the family dog. decent chemistry between the two leads. mldesu |

Great chemistry between them. Seeing them catching crimimals togther is a great adventure! Sudo Risa (Hattori Mika), who act as a cool cop with great leadership skills.
Great show not to be missed! |

Not too bad. The chemistry between the two guys is there. Sorimachi's great as always (although not as wacky as his GTO character here) being that police-officer-who-doesn't-follow-the-rules, and Oshio Manabu's good too as his scholarly rookie partner. But the ending was kinda disappointing :( |

i like the combination of active n undispinary senior with nerd young police guy which turn out to be excellent performance both actor. For sorimachi no doubt but for Oshio this is the best act he ever done (the rest of his dorama a bit stone except haruranman coz i didn't watch it yet) |

I totally love Takashi Sorimachi in this one! Manabu Oshio did a good job as well. Although the cases are pretty ordinary, but the chemistry between all the actors made up for it. Sorimachi and Oshio as Tachibana and Kawamura really had it going as partners! |

In the classic tradition of "odd-couples" you have a LAPD wannbe gun-slinger and his straight-laced partner. Their non-traditional methods of law enforment have a tendency to cause them an unnecessarily high volume of paperwork, but they look cool doing it! |

this 8 is for oshio manabu, who looks great in the drama.. the stories are rather common for a police drama.. and the ending not superb.. especially love the episode where kitajima's gun was stolen.. that was touching and unique.. sorimachi was funny too.. |

Firstly, we all know how well Sorimachi suits rolls like these but Oshio Manabu's part was really really amazing. He pulled it off easily, making the entire series watchable...there are some parts which would make you totally laugh your head off though... |

Formulaic but entertaining. Good chemistry between the Oshio & Sorimachi, plot wasn't too original though, renegade vs stickler for rules has been rehashed in many forms and played to death. Thought Odoru was much better in the league of police dramas. |

If you like American TV cop show, you will like this one. This is a Japanese version of action packed cop show. Lots of gun shots and fighting scenes.... Oshio Manabu, SudoRisa, Sorimachi Takashi they all did a good job. |
