Of those four tested by Consumer Reports, Avira had the best resource usage, scoring a "Very Good," where the others just scored a "Good."

According to Consumer Reports, the rankings of the free antivirus programs are as follows:
1. Avira
2. Microsoft Defender
3. AVG
4. Avast (  )

Just finished Orange Days yesterday.  It was a little slow for me but it got better towards the end. |
