Actor Kashiwabara Takashi (photo, 27) appeared recently at a press conference with a shaven head, a common symbol of repentance. He was apologizing for his involvement in a punch-up that took place at the New Year with a man in his 40s over a parked car blocking the road. The man is pursuing the matter at the Tokyo District Court and it looks like Kashiwabara won't be back at work for a while.

Just finished watching Big Wing with Kassy and Yuki, it was a lot of fun. Too bad Kassy didn't finish out filming Itsumo Futari de with Matsu Takako. Any one know what happened to him?

hmm... is Itsumo Futari de still shooting now....?? if yes, i think is perhaps due to the recent beat-the-reporter incident that caused a halt to his career... most of his ongoing drama shooting & commercial had stop ...

It was mentioned that it was due to health reasons that was why he withdrew from the drama.

I assumed he recovered then he got married. However due to recent misbehaviour, I think he will not be back so fast after he withdrew from some commericals.

this is the 1st time i've been to this forum. i started noticing kassy when his show, "Itsumo Futari de" was air in singapore. but like e rest of u all i was rather surprise (and upset) when he was replaced after a few esp. since then i have been trying to gather his news online and this forum seems to be e most updated (most of kassy's sites stopped updating in 2003-2004).
btw, may i know if there's any fanz of kassy in singapore? does anyone know where i can buy his shows here?

some of his dramas are quite old so it may be little difficult to get it. an alternative is to go to malaysia to get it.(but no guarantee that you will find it) of course there are kassy's fans in singapore
he used to have a band called No'where but i dont know if its still around. he has a few singles but they cut an album called "Bawl Out". his brother, kashiwabara shunji, was in the No'where too.
He wrote an autobiography of himself in 1999. if you want to get the translated chinese version of his autobiography, you can try placing an order at kinokuniya.

I saw one of his very veyr old show selling in Pearl's Centre in Chinatown I think....
Mayb you can try there.. The shop shld be call "blue max" (correct me if i am wrong), there's a branch in Plaza Singapura too...

hye guys, this is the first time i post at this thread... i like takashi kashiwabara... he's so cute.. i first see him in Shota No Sushi.. Soo kakkoi.. then i watch him at Love Forever, eventho they changed him to someone else... *sigh*
But as much as i like him, i didnt finish watching izanura no kiss... the girl drives me crazy yoh....
