In 1979 Finnish tv showed a Japanese police drama series, about the staff of a police station, and i'd like to know what it was. Apparently it was some well known dorama,otherwise it would have never ended up in Finland, where Japanese shows were totally unseen at the time.My guess is that it was broadcast in other Western countries as well.
Could you people make any guesses, or at least suggest helpful links about old dorama?? Thank you.

Wow that's a long time ago The database on this site only goes back to the early 80s. Which is to say, I don't know the answer, but maybe this book would help:
The Dorama Encyclopedia : A Guide to Japanese TV Drama Since 1953. You might ask your library if they have it or can get it. Good luck.

I did a little looking around. There was a well-known Japanese TV show from 1979 called "Tantei Monogatari" (Detective Story), starring Matsuda Yusaku. So that is a possibility. Here are some links to see if they jog your memory.

hi~! uhm looking for a recent drama (should be playing in Japan right now) about a very strict teacher in a grade school.....wears pure black and hair tied up in a bun..... the episode i saw was about fending off intruders and she took down another teacher because she knew judo...??

Hi! I'm new to this forum and I don't know where I should post an introduction...so I'll start straight away with a question (promise when I find the intros forum I'll post something there...)

I remember that back in 2003, when I was living in Osaka, there was a drama at 12.30-13.00 on (I think) Kansai TV (but it might have been NHK, or FujiTv, I'm not totally positive) about a girl in a wheelchair that goes on dancing...

As it was the first drama I ever watched, I've been trying to find it... but it seems to have disappeared from the world! I remember the title was something like "dancingu raifu" (Dancing life)...

Has anybody ever heard of it?
