ah well... the sun provides us with vitamin D so i guess that's an advantage.. =T

Yep. The lack of sunshine makes people depressed around here. It's some sort of Northern countries sickness during winter. Sad

It's cold -11C or 13F, but normal, maybe even hot for January. The humidity is killing us though. No matter how many layers you have on, you're freezing. It's like having your bones replaced with ice. bleh

The only solutions: hot soup and hot chocolate. Yummy... Big Grin

So I've heard. Almost up to 2 feet of snow.

There's a chance that schools and some businesses will be closed tomorrow. Big Grin

Maybe. Only because that as soon as they plow or shovel it, the snow keeps coming down. I've got at least 2 feet on Long Island. There are at least 1300 homes without electricity. The news casters have told everyone to stay off the roads, over and over again. So I think the school children's prayers will be heard! w00t! Victory! Peace!

Well, New York City is blanketed in a sheet of snow today.
A horrible blizzard hit the tristate area and now its nothing outside but just the snow. I think it will reach up for 18 inches in the city!
It's been awhile since New York had such a bad snow storm.
