The website for the Shiseido hair care product (shampoo) Tsubaki has been updated with larger pictures and short videos of the six ladies promoting the stuff. It's all in Flash so you might need to update your browser and/or install the appropriate plug-in.

These are the fine ladies in question:

Wow, many tv appearances for her recently. Looks like Ryoko Hirosue's glory days are back w00t! .

And about the website of the Tsubaki shampoo, when I first saw it, I didn't notice that Rena Tanaka was the one in the first row Bonk . Ryoko and Rena together to promote a product, that's really Cool! Yeah .

I'm shocked if this excellent drama is not going to be subbed in English. After waiting for so many years to see Ryoko in a new role, this has to happen. At least can someone give a synopsis of the drama. Like I would like to know Yosuke's Santa Maria's feelings for Ryoko's character - looked like he fell for her & what about Koyuki's character. What did she write in the letter that made Mako searched for her & married her? Was she a writer too - since all those books that she gave to Mako? In the end, it didn't show how Ryoko's character died. At least if they showed that it sort of give a closure to the sad story. IMO, the tears that Ryoko shed in the drama was a true reflection of her present real-life tragic marriage & circumstances. I hope she'll dump her no-good husband and marry Tsuyoshi! Don't you think they were made for each other?

Don't be shocked. There are alot of drama special out there (in d-addicts) that doesn't have english subs. Aside from this drama, I'm also waiting for the subs of Sengoku Jieitai and the Shinsengumi special Puppy Dog Eyes .

Yeah, she should do it and take little Hiroshi with her Mr Green Beaten

Last time I've heard, his sister was taking care of the kid, while Ryoko worked. Her husband just partied all night, spent money and tried to hook up with other women. Beat You

I use rikaichan a lot myself. Rikaichan is a Japanese-English dictionary extension for Firefox.

For longer texts I use http://excite.co.jp/world/english/ or http://excite.co.jp/world/english/web/. Don't forget to select the correct translation p=English, =Japanese.

For text with a lot of names or lists of names I use WWWJDIC (mirrors) and select the ENAMDICT (the dictionary for Japanese proper names).

Others are Google translate and Babel Fish.

http://www.j-talk.com/nihongo/ is a good one for romanizing Japanese text.
I think this would make a great thread in the Language section. Applaud
