I would suggest you search for this on the internet...there is a WEALTH of information on the Internet....and if you get really really desperate you can always buy a phrase book from a bookstore...
try searching the Internet via Google using, "Common Japanese Phrases" or something like that....
I think it would be virtually impossible for you NOT to find what you're looking for.
Good luck.
Yes, good suggestion
That, or ask these kinds of questions on the thread to which I am about to move this one.

Hello! I'm in need of anyone who could send me a list of random, everyday japanese words. Like, what hello, hey, wait and others mean/written in Japanese.
Thank you!

I looked in the dictionary feature here but there are too many alternatives

I was wondering how to speak a Sentance correctly without messing up, because I am teaching myself Japanese now, and I know that there is more to it then putting words together.
In my Language we add alittle something to the end of each sentence. I I am Hmong/Miao (aka descendents of the Chinese), and are Language is more of a tone language.
The Japanese language though add's like a little word to some thing's they say.
Like when they sai "I am", which is either Watashi wa or Watashi no, but what doe's to wa or no stand for, that's what I'm really confused about.

hey kokuou, you may need to move this...
anyways, just the word "I" is used differently depending on who you talk to and what is your gender, but to answer your question:
watashi wa = i am
watashi no = My (possesive) _________________

No pro!
I'm here to the rescue.
Anyway, johnnythao, have a look in the Japanese Language Questions (the thread to which I am going to move this). You will find a lot of helpful links concerning learning Japanese.

I REALLY need some help here even though this may not be exactly the right forum to post it - my friend wants to go for Madonna's Confessions Tour in Japan.
However, she does not know how to go about getting the ticket to the concert.
Can anyone help translate the way to obtaining a ticket?
All I know from my limited Japanese is that Madonna's having 2 concerts, one in Osaka Dome and the other in Tokyo Dome..
As for tickets, seems like you can only do it via NTT phone, IC card etc..
Is there a way to order it online from the PIA website - do I need to become to do this and how so?
I had a look and it seems like you can only buy a ticket from there if you're able to pay it in those ways written on the page (only possible from Japan as far as I saw).
Any friends living here who could do that part for you?

Ah thanks for the help... I figured too but I thought maybe I just missed out reading that my friend could register on the PIA website and buy the ticket online from them... *sigh*
I do have a friend in Japan but she's not responding to my email for help... *pulls hair out*
THANKS for helping me take a look at the page though!
