honestly, ive never seen tohoshinki/dbsk performed live, so i dont really know what type of styles they dance, same goes with the JE guys.. hahah though ive only seen a few clips which it doesnt give me any justice, i really need to see more than a minute but i bet their dance moves are just pop (like what u see on asian variety shows) idk about hiphop cuz i do cardio hiphop. the moves ive seen on the clip arent hiphop at all

thats what i thought too, from what i noticed in korea, most of these guys we know (shihnwa, bi, se7en, t, keeproots) has a big influence on r&b and hiphop.
there are actually japanese artists that're in korean blood, like crystal kay and verbal from m-flo.. theyre all in the same category (urban/pop)
so back to the topic, in a way JE guys are different cuz theyre poppy, cheery, and energetic, while k-artists are in the soulful, underground, mellow side.

this is a side note, i read this from solid07 that u-know was supposed to get married or something but i wasnt paying attention cuz he was my favorite at that time, it was 2 yrs. ago... is that true? or just a rumor.. and i didnt really paid attention about their private lives, just curious _________________

anyway .. i liked dbsk since 2004 June .. lol ..
before i got into JE-fever ~
anyway .. i liked Junsu at my first sight over his voice ..
and slowly eventually liked Micky , especially after knowing how much he loves Ricky (his younger bro)
haha anyway ~ dbsk seriously can sing REALLY well ~
lolx .. pratically melts all over and over again everytime hearing them sings ~
and glad that they're really doing well in their career ~
just hope that they'll take seriosuly good care of themselves ....
it's really tiring for them to travel on plane here and there so commonly ~
and another thing ...
i think we don't really need to compare the dbsk/SM to JE boys/JE ~
cuz they're really very different in styles and music ~
and the way 2 companies works differently too ..
each different groups/companies have their own special talents ..
so i won't judge say who's better ..

yes me too i liked the members one by one...i saw yunho and he was soo good looking and charismatic..then after that was junsu..he was so super cute and his vocals are to die for..then it spread to jaejoong..he's so pretty! <3 heehehe..then micky omg. he's got such a charming smile and he's funny hhahha.. then now im startign to like changminnie..he's growing up isnt he? =D
this is great..i like to spread the love for dbsk! hehe..
and yeah there is a big diff between them and the johnny's... i used to like johnny's too, until i turned to the kpop scene.. so after getting used to both jpop and kpop u realise that both are really different. cant compare them. the styles, the 'values', the way they do things, just everything.and yeah there's a diference between korean hiphop and japanese hiphop..erm hard to pinpoint where.
but dbsk is especially good cz they can both sing and dance and they're 5 goodlooking guys. I LOVE THEIR ACAPELLA...i melt whenver i hear them!! <3 if anyone needs anythin abt them, hehe i can help u out..

TVXQ are one of my favorite kpop/jpop groups. My favorites are Yunho and Yoonchun. When I heard that their fan club was open to the US, I was so excited. I was going to, but that price was killing me. I finally saw all of their Japanese pvs. They are almost as good as their Korean ones.

yay! I haven't been back on this forum for a long time after I discovered/ got converted into the K-pop scene by Tohoshinki. Didn't expect there would be a Tohoshinki thread here. So glad Japanese fans are slowly getting to know them. I didn't like K-pop at first coz the first person I saw was Bi/rain. My Lord, that guy scared me to no end with his leather outfit doing It's Raining. So Haado Gei. @_@ So I thought all Korean boyband were like, butch and stuff like that. I was a big JE fan so I liked my guys skinny and ..well gei. XD
But when I heard Hug on de radio I fell right in love. And to find out it was a Korean boyband, I was really suprised. I was like.. they can .. SING! AND DANCE! O_O Have to admit they're better than this generation JE boys. The Korean version of Rising Sun is just so damn good. And JaeJung .. OMG he's the most beautiful thing since Hyde-sama. Deff a bishounen.
But is there any Japanese fans here who got to know and love them solely by their Japanese works? I'm very curious. Coz I find all Tohoshinki's japanese songs before My Destiny kind of blah. They were okay, but nothing special. I would have easily dismissed them judging only on those works.
And then there's their weekly reports, they are so ..dead. They are like robots reading from the autocue or something. So akward. At one point I thought it would hurt their image. But I'm glad they have a good following in Japan too. ^^

Lol, that's cool, that Japanese fans are starting to like them^^, and yeap my first k-pop artist was Se7en, he's really cool, love his songs, then came Pi(Rain), loved him right away(even with the leather pants,lmao!^_^), and now is DBSK!, but I'm really into them now, like I donwnload everything that has to do with them, and yeap definately Rising sun Korean version is the best
JaeJoong is so pretty and hot, he looks like a fantasy game character, smooth skin and everything,lol,but still my number one guy is Hyde-sama^^
