i hope so... the first six episodes so far barely had any 'real' cheerleading. I'm not satsified with cute girls creating drama in their life and ends up making up with eachother and then raising their armpits and says 'Go... go...' to cheer someone.

Hitonatu was a weird kind of drama with the all performing and the private eye thing. Her dad was cool though and I loved Aya Ueto's haircut/dressing style. (not the acting hehe)

crap. the only 'real' cheerleading competition was on the last episode!!!

it's just not my stuff. calling this a cheerleader dorama is just so wrong. More like a bunch of girls creating drama to themselves which of course was also caused by themselves . The pace is a bit slow. They make a fuss the whole time and tend to make things too dramatique. After finishing it i actually thought Ace ro Nerae is better in the sport aspect, since it had 'real' tennis. Japanese cheerleading sucks, they barely did any rolls or flips. but it does have a buch of cute girls; each one with a different personality . and they actually used the fruityboy, Massu from NEWS, the right way, just as a sweetener.

I just finished Brother Beat.

I started downloading the hard subbed files months and months ago simply because Ryoko Kuninaka was in it. I'd watched pretty much all of Churasan, and shallow old Geezer that I am, I just wanted another chance to stare at that beautiful girl.

But during the months it took to collect the entire series, I stumbled upon a couple of Misako Tanaka's older series... shows like "Age 35" and "Tomoko to Tomoko" and became a huge fan.

After watching her work in Brother Beat, all I can say is I now put her in the same class as Tomoko Yamaguchi and Atsuko Asano. And that's about the highest praise I can think to give an actress.

Jeez-oh! That lady is amazing!

The story, the writing, of "Brother Beat" was a nice little run of the mill Japanese family comedy/drama. The three actors who played Tanaka's sons were... alright. To be honest, those parts probably could have been played by any 3 actors in the bull pen, and the results would have been the same.

But getting to watch Tanaka work was a gift.

And oh yeah, Ryoko Kuninaka is still breath taking. And to make the show even more fun... she did a great job playing the mousie little love interest.

Well I finally finished Regatta, I liked it, it was sweet.
My HanaDan 2 arrived today so I shall be starting that shortly whoo.
Oh and I've been re-watching Kurosagi *hides from all the Kurosagi haters* hadn't watched it for quite a long time and I missed it....
I have Dragonzakura and Kinadichi (Series 1) and Jigoku Shoujo on the way whoo bring on the dorama
