THANK YOU!

I'm surprised you made it through episode 2.....

Nakamie must feel terrible to be associated with such a nothing piece of television.

rofl

i was reading through the past posts and someone said something like,
gokusen 2 was a bastardization (not the word used ahah) of gokusen 1 and gousen 1 was a bastardization of GTO. and i'm like, YEAH!

3 would be sin incarnate. and that's an honest opinion, not something i picked up from everyoe else who already hates gokusen 2. bmwracer was right, nakama has better things to do. so much room for new, better drama. let's not waste it.

Bonk

oh man, please don't throw stones at me for typing this... Fingers crossed

okay, just as everyone has already stated, Gokusen 2 is basically Gokusen 1 with a new class and new school, same secret, yada yada yada. i completely agree. it's often rare that sequels can outdo the original, yes? especially when the majority of the cast is new.

i watched Gokusen 1 and i watched Gokusen 2 (yes, completely), but i wasn't too mad at it. to look on the bright side, what i enjoyed about G2 was really the interaction between Head Teacher Sawatori and Yankumi. it was nice that they weren't really enemies this time. they are hillarious together. and it was nice to see Kuma again, how he's doing, being a responsible adult, etc. i guess what i'm getting at was that it was nice to see the progress of past characters. it would of completedly sucked for me if none of them were in there at all. then i would join the complete hatred bandwagon. i do admit, i was hoping that Shin and everyone else would make a small appearance, but alas, as we know, no such thing.

other nice things about G2... well, really, i just enjoyed the comedy, putting aside that overall it was a total ripoff of G1. i liked Yankumi's fellow teachers, especially that gym teacher. he was so funny. i guess it's just nice to know that Yankumi didn't lose her touch.

but i still prefer the first class 3D to the second. also teaching another 3D class was a bit over the edge for me. is it so hard to call them class 3C or some other letter? or just a different range of bad students, i don't know. anyways.... just my 2 cents.

now i'll just go hide in a box. ashamed

Hmm I did not watch Part 1 and went on to watch Part 2 instead, so yeah got nothing to comment on the difference or maybe indifference.

Apart from the above, I agreed that Kame and the other Kat-Tun guy were great actors.

Storyline I guess anyone can guess the endings for each student.

Dear Ling 79:

You've GOT to watch Gokusen 1. It is such an incomparable delight!! I would say in comparison to Gokusen 2 that it's a masterpiece, whereas Gokusen 2 is petty drivel--just junk.
Everyone whom I know who has seen Gokusen has loved it with a passion, including my 78-year-old father! I have watched it several times. I never get tired of it!

When you consider that MatsuJun was in Gokusen 1, that's really saying something about how bad they must be in 2. MatsuJun didn't do much more than stand around trying to look "smouldering" or "brooding" in Gokusen 1, rather unsucessfully at that.

Yup, he was full of attitude and feathered hair and that was it.

I was really hoping Yankumi would get pissed at him and give him a good ass-kicking...
