how is the anime in comparison to the drama?

the only difference about the two is.. the ending..

the ending at the live action is very unique than the anime, but the plot is the same.

i suggest watch the anime first before the live action.. Thumbsup

I too suggest watching the anime first because the anime will leave you wanting to acutally see what happens to Onizuka at the end.

The drama will show you more of how the characters are and in a way a bit different so its really really interesting, plus its better to see the characters in action.

Then I STRONGLY suggest that you READ the manga. The manga will answer practically everything and it has more story and more students. You'll see that the drama took some characters and filled with another character's personality as well. The manga has some really interesting characters that wasn't shown in the drama and that was one thing that disappointed me a bit. Also right now in the US they are releasing a manga that gives the story of Onizuka in his high school days. Its soo funny but definitely pg 13 rated....if not a bit higher hehe hehe

the manga is way, way, way... better than the anime or live-action.

Onizuka in the live-action is too lame. I'm serious, a bicycle???? beside that he isn't good at game or anything else at all.

and I prefer the ending in the manga, the anime's ending is ok, but I really don't like the ending in the liveaction (i'm talking about the thing he has to deal with)

Probably not the best drama I ever saw...but that's just my opinion, but it is definitely great. I suppose it is ranked #1 for a reason. The main leads have great chemistry. It is so cute the know that they are married in real life.

Victory! Peace!

Get real, boys. Only in GTO and in your dreams will a woman ever fall for someone as obnoxious and sexist as this "great teacher". If you think watching porn videos and handing out a condom to the girl who asks you how you feel toward her is cute and will do the trick for you, dream on.

Yikes.

I haven't seen this drama yet, but now I have even less motivation to.

That the drama is overrated, sexist, and chauvinistic..... And not worth watching.

I've only watched the anime IMO its far better than gokusen

coz in gokusen the story is more focused on yankumi and his 5 standouts

unlike in GTO they showed different problems that usually occur to high

school students.... Sweat Sweat Sweat
