Not a lot of laughs. In fact, in the end it's quite sad.
But three cheers for Miho Kanno who continues to take on interesting, and often less than flattering characters.
Three cheers for Jun Fubuki who shows you what being a pro is all about.
A couple of heart felt cheers for newcomer (at least to me) Suzuki Kasumi (Po) for creating a very memorable character.
And one question; Has anyone ever seen Tomiura Satoshi beforre. The kid who played Riku. That can't be that kid's voice, can it? I mean, at first I assumed he was a girl and at some point in the story that would be a big reveal. Riku is really a girl!!! No.
So when that didn't happen, I kept wondering why they had a woman dubbing in all of his lines.
So the question is... does he sound like that in any of the other dramas he's done?
I need to lighten it up a bit. I'm gonna start on "My Boss My Hero" I loved the original Korean movie. Hopefully that won't make me go into the series with a chip on my shoulder. _________________

pure comedy...a rare gem of a dorama, especially in this day when japanese tv co's and producers would prostrate themselves and lick the toe funk of any johnny's jimusho's gimp of the moment

I'm sort of glancing at the first episode of Partners 3 (Aibou 3) and there are already 3 guest stars that I like: Kimura Yoshino, Nishimura "Samu!" Masahiko, and Takenaka Naoto. I think that's a sign that I need to pay more attention to this drama. _________________

Just go started with Taiyou no Uta episode 1,
Been slow for my liking, but at least I saw some building up to the story, hope I will like it towards the end of the dorama.
I saw both the drama and the movie and ended up liking the movie way more than the drama. I dunno, the drama seemed way more cliched and devoid of any real emotion. _________________

Thanks for your feedback and opinion about the comparison, I haven't got the movie version yet, but overall, I would love to see some build up before the actually plot coming in, but too slow, not too fast
Of course, I would love to watch the movie someday~

Finished Yama Onna, Kabe Onna. It's really quite and interesting drama, and the 2 main characters are quite nicely defined, if you look beyond the G-cup jokes.
Neither Itoh Misaka nor Fukada Kyoko is my favourite actress. Itoh's acting hasn't progressed much beyond her role in Kekan na Aneki, and Fukada is the usual dumb blond - without the blond part and with a very sizeable cleavage. Nonetheless the characters seemed tailor-suited to both of them, and they both played the part adequately.
Recommended for light entertainment, unless you happen to be a die-hard feminist.

Finished watching the third episode of Koi ni ochitara last night. Not a fan of azuki(ish) beans, but I wanna try that mochi thing that they had.

watching Love & Eros starring Tomoya Nagase
I didn't like that show. The only highlight was Nagase.
I had no respect for Fujii Fumiya in that drama because he seemed like such a pathetic guy. Unfortunately, it also affected my opinion of him in general and I can't stand to listen to his songs or watch any of his other shows. Perhaps that was harsh, but I saw it many years ago and my opinion might change now that I'm older (and hopefully more mature). _________________
