the .ass format as u can here the pic below.. like this... sorry i've tried to show the vid wit subs.. but it can't.. so, this wat i've can do for meoinkie2 to show it... but if you use MPC player, realplayer, WMV player... the subs like this pic below...

aiyooo, so with GOM player, no matter what the format of the subtitle is, it will only be showed as plain text?? thank you for the samples!!

yup.. gom player juz shoewd as plain text even the .srt format have add the color.. gom player still showed the plain text.. because that.. if the raw video that i want to watch it...n have the .srt or .ass or .txt file.. i'll prefer to use MPC, realplayer or WMV player than gom player..
mostly, ii've use gom player to watched anime..

so.. have fun to watch Ohno-kun and toma-kun in thin very good drama!!!

i'm very nervous on how it'll do today. the hype on this drama is overwhelming. don't want to keep my expectations too high...

had finally watched the first episode!! i totally enjoyed it!! both Ohno and Toma were very good in portraying their roles although there are times that Toma was kinda exaggerating.. all these detective thingy is making me all interested to watch more of it!! and i just gotta say that whenever i watch the opening theme, i get goosebumps!! Me too..just finish watching Maou ep 1.... amazing!! Really love the story.. interesting! I never watched Korea version so no comparison..... Toma acting is very good..maybe just a little overacting..just a little..yeah..maybe (or maybe that is what the director want!) but he did a good job to express his feeling.. Ohno kun also did a good job... waiting for ep 2...Maou team..gambare! AND..thanks for all the magazines scan..Toma look really hot..LOVE !!

Sound interesting and I like Ikuta Toma but I will wait a little and see how this progresses before investing time

the soft subs are already out at d-addicts. sakurai_storm released the hardsubbed video and ready for download at a_ra_shi livejournal community. Stormy-team will be releasing their's soon at d-addicts (they are a bit slow aren't they? Beaten

but i'll be downloading them since it will be of the highest quality subs in HD video)

Hmm, I'm currently working my way through the Korean original and loving it. Though I'm kind of hesitant to start watching this right away cuz I don't want any spoilers... If its anywhere near as good as the original, I'm sure it'll be a great watch.

I think if you've watched Mawang until episode 5 its ok to watch Maou until episode2. The pacing and the age of the characters are different.
Maou: Lawyer=28, Detective=26, Librarian=22
Mawang: Lawyer=26, Detective=28, Librarian=22/23/24?
Here's a nice comparison post between of the first episode of Mawang & Maou ("I've watched the first eps of both Maou and Mawang, and I can't decide which I like more! They're the same story with virtually identical scenes, but the way they're presented is completely different")

finally watched the first episode what can I say is, Ohno is sooooooooooo amazing! Can't believe that this is his first lead role in jdorama! Toma~~I can't mention more about him coz he is a very good actor at all
