Watched ep. 6 of 1 Litre of Tears last night - best episode yet. I think Ako (the sister) is definitely my favorite character - I really enjoyed her behavior in this episode.

Let's see: Kanjiya, Asadora, Wakui, rakugo . . . man, would I love to get a hold of this series.

Are you able to watch it without subs? I can get ahold of parts of it, not sure if it's the whole series though.

I really enjoyed Kuitan episode 1. Laughed out loud a lot of times. But after that, the focus shifted from Kuitan himself, and I didn't find the following episodes very funny.

I loved this too. The characters are quirky, and do grow on you a lot Smile

OT: Atsu-hime 11. I really like Takahashi Hideki who plays Nariakira Smile

Thanks for the offer, but my Nihongo is spotty; I'd probably end up frustrated I couldn't understand all the dialog.

I know that NGN in Hawaii continues to televise Asadora with English subs. And I think Gardena, which is just south of L.A., also has access to NGN.

Hopefully there's someone on this site who's recording it and is willing to trade or sell, or knows someone who is . . . . Fingers crossed

You could try groink from d-addicts: Or maybe cori, but I don't think cori is recording it because she hasn't mentioned it...

Finished Dare Yorimo Mama wo Aisu. Akira being with Pinko spoiled the story. I wish Akira was straight.

Now watching Daisuki!
Interesting plot and Karina's acting is superb.

I don't have NGN anymore because I don't really want to pay for something if I only watch a handful of stuff. Back in the day, they used to have subbed FUJI dramas, but not anymore. U Suck

That's a really great and old-school type of drama. Smile

I think for some people it requires patience, but I really enjoyed it from the beginning. Smile

Finished epi 5 of Proposal. I'm REALLY getting tired of the whole Hallelujah Chance thing. It's so annoying and redundant. The whole wedding reception and the beginning and end of each episode is tiresome. However, the middle parts (i.e. the plot for each epi) are cute and starting to grow on me.

I'll try to watch another episode today, breaking my trend of swallow just the one per day.
