indeed. In love she's more adorable that way, but that shouldn't be hindering her from acting as a mean person. xD
But could you guys imagine her in a horror movie? O.o Sweat Twisted
She looks more serious with her "overpluged" eyebrows, so acting in a horror movie would be challenging too. (even though I wouldn't dare to watch it, since I'm a real weakling when it comes to japanese horror) xD

Ugh, no horror movies... bleh

LOL. I knew most of the reactions would be an absolute "NO". xD
She is just too kawaii to be scary. She would be perfect for the movie TRICK. xD

I'd really like to see her in a professional role, like a lawyer/doctor/police officer or a role where she's really smart and intelligent... Victory! Peace!

EDIT: there was some mention about a Swing Girls sequel with Juri-chan.... That would be AWESOME. Victory! Peace! Bonk

that would mean that juri-chan needs to grow her hair longer. But where did you hear that anyway? Victory! Peace!

Someone mentioned it a long while ago... Maybe not long after Juri-chan won the Best Actress Award for Nodame... Smile

EDIT: My mistake it was 2006: http://jdorama.com/viewtopic.php?p=504871#504871

I guess nothing became of it.... Puppy Dog Eyes

Juri playing the role of a smart gal or an academic would be cool. I just don't think her natural look lends itself to being a lawyer, doctor type. Juri being a policewoman or an enforcer would just be weird since she doesn't look intimidating enough ..... however, if it were a comedy .... hehe

I'm unsure how great it'd be actually, cause I always felt SG was really a stand-alone movie. Although reassembling the cast would be awesome to see, everybody would be 4 or so years into the future, maybe in college. It'd be hard to recapture the magic and adorableness of the original. Sweat

Instead of a sequel it'll probably resemble Waterboys - movie turned into drama, with some of the old cast back in the scene. The old Swing Girls could come back to instruct the latest incarnation.

juri-chan in a horror movie?

*shudders*

I have no idea why, but i really wanna see juri as a teacher. i was just imagining "the queen's classroom" (which starred amami yuki) starring juri. i would be really cool to watch her in a role that reduces a whole bunch of kids to tears (she already did that to one kid in tsubasa)

i really wanna see juri and utada hikaru acting together, the closest i ever got to that was "last friends" where hikaru sang to theme song, which i thought was pretty cool...

good point, i don't ever think she'll go into acting.

anything i shocked just now when i saw last friends at the video store. not only that, it was rated M18 (mature 18). That means I'll have to wait four year before i can rent it.

dang

No.

For the most part, singers can't act.

kawaii ne?? she's so cute in those pics. which behind the scenes is this from? I've never seen it.
Last friends is rated M18? xD seriously? But there are no perverted scenes in there....well at least none that can be scene but only imagined. and apart from the violence there's not that much mature content. I think rating it M16 is ok. but 18? O.o that's a little bit high isn't it?
