At least for another day, Rox win 6-1 in spite of Ichiro going 2-for-4. And Dodgers take 2 of 3 from Texas. Victory! Peace!

I was worried after the first inning, but Billingsley didn't let Furcal's two-run error upset him. Sweat

Yay! w00t!

Once again, I didn't realize that the game was on the tube... Especially since it was a home game... But I did catch everything from the 8th inning on. Victory! Peace! Applaud

This time it's the Dodgers turn to lose 5-4. Kuroda made two mistakes and they were both deposited in the bleachers. Beaten

Yup.... Dodgers can't always come back from a one-run deficit. Puppy Dog Eyes

At least the Padres and Giants lost as well. Victory! Peace!

With the win, Joe Torre passed Sparky Anderson for 5th on the all-time managers win list. Applaud

Could be interesting in Boston, Braves vs. Red Sox/ Kawakami vs. Dice-K (but I still hate interleague play Grumble )

Well, it wasn't all THAT interesting. Dice-K got the crap beat out of him again, 4 innings, 6 runs, all earned, Braves won 8-2. Kawakami gave up just 2 hits in 6 innings for the win. I think we might see Dice-K going on the DL. Whether he's got anything physically wrong or not is a whole other issue.

Dodger pitching can't hold a lead and they lose to the (hated) Angels, 5-4. Grumble

Matsuzaka back on the 15-day DL. Did the Sox blame the WBC for this?

Jeez, I guess Ichiro IS on "performance enhancers..."

Good question because Iwakuma (who should have been the WBC MVP IMHO) is on the DL in Japan with elbow problems.
Wouldn't be surprised if pretty soon we start seeing contracts that have a "No WBC" clause.

Angels throw six wild pitches and get hammered by the red-hot Rockies (winners of 17 of their last 18 games), 11-1. hehe
