I'll watch Good Luck even if I'll only understand 10% of the show. I'll watch it for my hero Kimura Takuya and of course the lovely Rina-chan. hehe

Too bad they give Rina a ditz role in the drama. Rolling eyes They make no use of her great acting ability whatsoever. Terrible. Shake Head

hehehe.. yah atleast we have my little chef. hehe i don't even know what the heck that is.

so how are you capturing?? do you record onto vhs tape first and then capture from tape??
well the best method is if you had a cable connection and directly connect it with the capture card on the computer. ahhh.. so glad that i don't have to mess with that anymore, it was such a pain to convert the files (my card captured to big fat avi files)
i will be recording the show onto DVD-r. Mr Green

any of you guys get the international channel?? i just have basic cable and basic digital out in the living room. so i dunno if i have it or not. just wondering since i heard theres so more japanese tv shows on that channel also.

Basically VHS and then onto the comp. I can hook up cable to my video card though but like the nearest extension is quite far Sweat
The quality would be better that way huh? But then I would also have to be at the computer too right, or is there a way to set a timer on the comp to record?

yah that would be the best way. plus you won't need to buy a S-vhs vcr. you could try to drag the vcr in between the connections.. then feed the cable off the vcr into the computer. Mr Green

oh yah, did you watch Hey! Hey! Hey! last night? i saw Aya on the show. Bleah

anyways for shinsengumi, will they still be airing it?? i know that they just recently aired the 10th episode. but i've heard this drama is atleast 40+ episodes long.

Hahaha ok, either that or maybe I could find a really long cable cord Mr Green
The only capturing software I have is the one I got from ATI. I have the ATI AIW Radeon 8500. I hope that'll work. Maybe I should email you on how to get it set up and stuff.

Oh, I missed Heyx3 last night >< But I did download the Aya appearance before hand so I already had it on the comp hehe They'r really starting to get the eps a lot faster now which is good.

Not sure about Shinsengumi, it would suck for them to just stop halfway though.

amrayu

I haven't heard anything about "Shinsengumi" being cut off.

KTSF will be running "My Little Chef" at 8pm on Saturdays. It takes over for the show about the police chief.

"Shinsengumi" comes on at 9:30pm.

"Good Luck!!" Starts on May 9, on Sunday Nights at 9pm.

As for the International Channel... I get it on Channel 240, here in the East Bay.

On Sunday Evenings at 6pm they run what they call "Fuji Fun Time". Basically they show Fuji shows, without sub titles, as soon as the shows end their run in Japan.

"Beginner" ended last week, and the next show will start on the 2nd of May... but they haven't announced what it will be yet. My guess is it will either be "Pride" of "Fire Boys", but I'm just guessing.

They also show "Hey Hey Hey" (right now they are showing the same episodes as KTSF) and Japan Pop TV.

Between the end of "Beginner" and the start of the next series, they are running Japanese movies on the weekends.

That's about it for Japanese TV. During the week the IC is very big on Korean TV dramas.

anyways heres some info about My little Chef:
stars: aya ueto (no wonder eltinator wants to cap this!!!)
abe hiroshi and yada akiko.

heres a little synopsis:
taken from jdorama for those lazy peeps. Wink
Seri, an unknown yet talented female chef from the country, arrives in Tokyo to work at French restaurant, Etoire, but discovers that they have gone out of business due to the departure of their main chef. Together with the restaurant's former manager, she opens a French restaurant of her own and begins to recreate the flavors her late father mastered as a famous gourmet chef. Unfortunately, Etoire returns with an unscrupulous manager, and to make matters worse, Seri learns that it happens to be owned by her birth mother living in Paris who she hasn't seen since she was a child. Seri wonders if her passion and skill will be enough to succeed.

i'll be sure to record this on DVD-r, considering itll be english subbed too. Twisted

Sorry to have been vague. I get the IC on ch 240 on DIGITAL cable.

I've got the "give me everything you've got" package from comcast.

AND THE RESULTS ARE IN!

The International Channel will begin to show "FIRE BOYS" on Sunday, May 2nd, at 6pm pacific time.

(And as I mentioned earlier, this show will likely not have sub-titles)

whoa cool fireboys! Hmm I have it subbed in chinese but raw versions would definately be nicer to have if anyone wants to sub it. I can help out with putting the subs in. So IC dramas air once everyweek also correct?
