Nah, I don't have an X-box, nor would I play the version they got out on CvS2. They seriously dumbed down the game. I wish they kept it arcade perfect.

Anyways, see you at EVO2K4.
yeah the X-box version is broken i agree but i play it anyways cuz there are some great camelot players on there... but man its is broken as heck! p-grove is insane on there you can link supers 2 easily on p-grove (fierce into super.. roundhouse into super.. bah! and there are insane juggles with S-grove i mean impossible broken looooong juggles, while they took our RollCancels and toned doen sagat and blanka.. ehh... no good
but bettert than nothing right? anyway atleast its better than the GC version Beaten that beign said i still play more on the arcade.. so what's ur main team? right now i've been playing random and random grove =) (but when i get serious i always choose ateast one shoto or sagat Beaten )

oh ur going to evolution? cool! hey i'm goign also.. this year it doesn't sound so good..i mean consoles? Shake Head anyway i hear that some top player might not go... even BASS said he wouldn't go (but i guess its ok cuz he just came back from europe) i really how daigo and ino come... (this year i'm going to have DAIGO sign my chest! ...lol) but my personaly favorite is white or makoto... i want to see makoto come and own all with his amazing P-grove parring skillz that would be sweet... =)

so what games are you goingto enter? i think i'm gonna go for CvS2 3st and SuperT... no marvel cuz i suk at it ...lol

loriemay is ragnarok the game with those cute lil chibbi characters?

Yeah, Makoto is my hero. My team is P-Kyo/Vega/Cammy after his. My play style is a hybrid of his tactics and mine. So I'd say I'd be an aggressive turtler. Mr Green

And the reason I want to go is to see the Japanese in action for myself. If Daigo goes, I'm gonna be yelling, "BEAST!" hehe

Uh, I'll probably just enter CvS2 since it's the game I know best. I'd go for 3s, but I'm not confident in my matchups because I've only played average players and it's not at my local arcade. I gotta go to SVGL for that. And those guys are beasts. hehe

Oh yeah, I'm horrible at MvC2 also. Well, not like I'd play it competitively though since it's so broken with infinites and whatnot. That and people just pick Sentinel/Cable/Storm/Magento. Strider/Doom, or some other assist characters.

Which reminds me, I gotta find a hotel soon! I'm such a procrastinator.

The only top-player I've met is Dr. B because he used to work at the arcade I frequent. I play Ricky a lot over there too. I almost beat him at CvS2, but he pulled some weird ass Chun-Li crap on me that I've never seen before. Beaten hehe

As for Choi, never met/seen him. I'll probably head down to SVGL though sometime before Evo. Gotta sharpen my skills. The only person I know how to use in 3s is Ken cuz he's so damn easy to use, but I really wanna learn Makoto ever since I heard she plays like Kyo. Mr Green

Oh yeah, I wanna get Karaoke Revolutions for PS2. I heard there are JPop collections to sing along to! Wow! Beaten hehe

Hahaha, don't get me wrong, I ain't THAT good, but I can hang with him. I can usually get to his R2 on a good day, but I can never seem to beat him. It really depends on what kind of day I'm having. That one REALLY close battle I had with him is when he was using some weird ass team his friend misconceptn (we call him Michealangelo after the ninja turtle) picked. Something like S-Cammy/Geese/Chun-Li. Trust me, if he picked some of his tournament teams on me, I'd be done for. Especially his K-Sagat and A-Sakura. Sweat hehe

And just for reference, my arcade (Newpark Mall Tilt) probably has the biggest concentration of dedicated S-Groove players in the world. I swear, everyone and their dog plays that groove so I've seen all the crazy tricks. Nut

I thought he was a chick at first too until someone pointed out that he was THE Ricky Ortiz. I had to go to the other side of the arcade to laugh my ass off. He still has the wavy hair which we dubbed the "April O'Neal fade". And he always shows up with his friend I mentioned earlier so we decided to call them the "Ninja Turtles". hehe hehe hehe

Oh, and last I heard, he's gonna be WC this year, but don't quote me on that. I could care less about MvC2 though. Just give me my SooMighty Mags craziness and I'm happy. Mr Green

I'm currently playing Virtual ON Marz for PS2...yeah, I just got it even though it came out in October 2003 for USA. It's good, but it's not as fast as the other V-Ons...my favorite will always be the first one on Sega Saturn, but this evolves the series pretty well I guess. Graphics are nice considering it's PS2, so no horrible anti-aliasing problems or FR problems here :]

From my recollection, (which isn't much) I thought that the dad's name was Ken Hayabusa?! (I haven't played the original since '91, so excuse the memory 'cause it could be way off) And he died right? Which is what started the whole story..... (I can still remember the opening skit/intro in the original when the two ninjas have that duel in the moonlight. The game was very high tech back then) I'm still trying to get my hands on the original 'cause my Nintendo still works! Beaten Gotta play that game again.

I think all 3 original Ninja Gaiden games are unlockable secrets in the Xbox NG.

Aw man, I haven't even played that one yet.

But I've passed all the other NG games on Nintendo. Those were my favorites. And not to mention Mike Tyson's Punch Out! hehe

I haven't played NG for Xbox either. NG looks flat out awesome. I really want an Xbox. Mostly to use as a media player though. But I wanna wait until it gets to like $100. Smile

How much do those XBoxes run for now? I don't even have a Play Station 2. Only the one I bought for my gf so techincally, that's hers and not mine to claim. Plus it from Japan so it'll be hard to get some games when she brings it over here next month.
My friend had an XBox. But a lot of the games, I don't care for all that much. (That I know of, actually) Anyways, I'd still prefer a Play Station 2. Smile

I think retail is $150. I want to use one as a movie player. When you install the media software on these, you can play just about anything you can play on your comp. Even stuff like OGM, and videos with soft subs. I already have a PS2 right now, and I barely use it. A lot of my games are unopened or untouched. :/
