How would you know that Shinnosuke would not possess such powers? Maybe being the 7th in the line of shinnosukes gives you telekinetic abilities, and scanners was just a movie made by the govt. to convince you otherwise that such an anomaly can actually occur. Though just in case I'm wrong, you're still on your own!
Oh and just so that this post is legit, I would go out with Ryoko Hirosue... er.. again!

I've seen a number of copies available on eBay, but I've fought off the urge, since there's no English subs.... I suppose you can read Chinese? Or is it just that the story is easy to follow?
