Kamiki Ryunosuke stars in new Kudokan drama series

Actor Kamiki Ryunosuke (18) will be the star of a drama series for the first time since gTantei Gakuen Qh in 2007. This time, he will play a working student supporting his family in a story written by popular screenwriter Kudo Kankuro (gTiger and Dragon,h gKisarazu Cat's Eyeh).

Titled g11 Nin mo Iru!,h the drama is a heartrending but comedic story about a family consisting of a jobless father, a domestic mother, and eight children with different personalities. As the title suggests, the family also has a mysterious g11th member.h

Kamiki plays the eldest son Kazuo, a high school student who helps support the family through part time jobs serving at a gas station and doing newspaper delivery. He clashes with his father (Tanabe Seiichi), an artsy photographer with no real earning power. Mitsuura Yasuko plays the part of an obedient wife, while Kato Seishiro plays the shy youngest child who can see a ghost (the g11th memberh) but doesnft tell the rest of the family.

It is also reported that Hoshino Gen, the guitarist of the band SAKEROCK, will have a regularly appearing role as the younger brother of Tanabe Seiichi.

The show will air on TV Asahi on Friday nights at 11:15pm, starting in October.

Gouriki Ayame added to the cast of gWatashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuuh

Fuji TVfs upcoming fall eGetsu9 drama gWatashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuuh already features top-class female starring cast with Karina, Yoshitaka Yuriko, and AKB48fs Oshima Yuko, in addition to the already great supporting cast. Now, it has been announced that the up-and-coming young actress Gouriki Ayame is also going to enrich the drama with her charms.

This role is going to mark Gourikifs fourth consecutive drama appearance since January. In the winter season she first appeared in gTaisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kuretah (Fuji TV), followed by her role in the spring drama gAsuko March!h (TV Asahi), and finally her current starring role in the summer drama gISh (TV Tokyo).

In gWatashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuuh she will play eHanzawa Momokoe, the younger sister of eHanzawa Makoe (Oshima). Momoko is the exactly opposite of Mako and a very wild and kitsch younger sister, so to say, a right little devil.

Gouriki commented, gI was very surprised and happy about the offer. Ifm very nervous and Ifll try my best not to be too much of a burden for everyone else, while showing you my brightness and energy.h About the drama she stated, gItfs full of grown-up love and emotions (laughs). My character, Momoko, is still very young, though (laughs). I hope I will play her good enough that you will eventually start to hate her.h

She also talked about Oshima, who plays her older sister in the drama, gOshima is very kind and I admire her a lot. She has such a soothing and carefree aura.h

gWatashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuuh will premier on Fuji TV in October.

TV Asahi will air a drama special with the same title sometime this winter, starring actresses Matsuyuki Yasuko and Ryo. The drama will be directed by award-winning movie director Wakamatsu Setsuro (gShizumanu Taiyoh).

Meanwhile, Yokofs husband (Sawamura Ikki), a local politician, is suspected of receiving illegal campaign contributions, so his mother (Shirakawa Yumi) and his head supporter (Kishibe Ittoku) are desperate to push Yoko to popularity. The reluctant Yoko receives some encouragement from Harumi, but one day her son Yuta is suddenly kidnapped. She receives a letter demanding her to greveal the truthh if she wants Yuta back safely. Hirosue Ryoko to star in upcoming drama, g11 Nin mo Iru!h
Posted on: Tokyohive

Actress Hirosue Ryoko has landed a starring role in the upcoming drama, g11 Nin mo Iru!g. Itfs been a year since Hirosue last starred in a drama series, and this will be her first time working with popular screenwriter Kudo Kankuro.

g11 Nin mo Iru!h is a comedic home drama about a large family consisting of a jobless father (Tanabe Seiichi), a stay-at-home mother (Mitsuura Yasuko), and eight children. Actor Kamiki Ryunosuke will play the part of the eldest son, and the youngest son eSaigof will be played by Kato Seishiro.

Hirosue will be the e11th member of the familyf as eMegumifs ghostf. Megumi was a former stripper, who was Sanada Minorufs (Tanabe) late wife, and the mother to all of his children except Saigo. While shefs the same age as Minorufs current wife, their personalities are vasty different. Hirosuefs character is a wild, troublesome, and proud woman who loves to drink. Even as a ghost, she tries to butt into the familyfs business, however, only Saigo is able to see her.

gA vulgar and gaudy former stripper, on top of that, a ghost of a former wife; I honestly thought, eWhat kind of character is that?f However, the fantastical character Megumi is a mismatched role for me, so I felt grateful to receive a role like that, and gladly accepted the offer,h said Hirosue.

She continued, gWe just started filming, and itfs so much fun to play Megumi. Itfs not a ghost thatfs created by CG effects, so I can be a part of the family, and there is no loneliness. Everyone around me has to ignore my existence, so I think it will be difficult to act. But Kudo-san told me, eDo it boldlyf \ I want to freely play the role of Megumi until the end.h

Additionally, it was revealed that rock band NICO Touches the Walls will be providing their song, gBicycleh, as the theme song for the drama.

g11 Nin mo Iru!h will air every Friday nights starting October 21st.

Actor Watanabe Ken (52) and actress Minami Kaho (47) will appear together in a TV Asahi drama special next month, titled gAi Inochi ~Shinjuku Kabukicho Kakekomidera~.h This is their first time acting together since they got married in 2005.
