I change the channel once they start talking about the trial and start looking for some good commercials to watch...

I got a text today from a younger friend whose mother is a few years into early onslaught Alzheimers.

The woman started at only 57 years old.

The text read:
My mother didnt know who I am today. I didnt think things would progress so quickly. I hope she will remember me again.

So sad. In a way worse than the person simply dying as you watch their personality die before their body does.

Im just impressed that my friend stays as positive as she does. The family all live together on one property.

True. It's a testament to him that he continued to be involved at such a high level considering how ill he must have been in recent months. Amazing really.
