Love how this photo came out.

Oh look, graffiti! How authentically British! hehe

Hey you, Big Boy! hehe

Terrible picture of the entrance to Takeshita Street. But there is a great place to get crepes, just on the right after you go in.

Outside, I had my first CB1300 sighting. I had talked to the exporter about finding me one of these. No, I don't know how I would register it in the U.S. I don't care. I want one. Bonk

All I see is the BMW motorcycle. Mr Green

Haha, I see those all the time. In fact, I have an '04 R1100S Boxer Cup replica with only 64.3 miles on my lift right now, and a '52 R51/3 on the floor next to it.

What better way to start a day than chocolate? My friend treated me to a fancy little boutique shop near Nippori station.

Then it was Shinjuku time!

When we saw this sign...

...my friend said we should cross and check out that area. Now I only took a couple of pictures once across the street. Because even though my Japanese is only mediocre, I didn't have any trouble understanding what most of the businesses were about. If the two leggy women in the above picture don't give you an idea...

...then perhaps this will help. This sign was just too funny not to snap a picture. Naughty

Time to return to the clean world. Mr Green

Ah, that's better. Victory! Peace!

It certainly was! Every little bite was as rich as it was... expensive. (I'm guessing!)

You remember that scene at the beginning of Lost in Translation? Pretty much the same as the intro on Shinya Shokudo. Well, there's the bridge both scenes go under. At night, of course. I've yet to make the same drive at night myself. Maybe next trip?

For whatever reason, the Yunika Building was showing Pet Shop Boys videos. All day, all night. It's not that I don't like their music, but all day and all night?

Just taking a general shot here, but caught a mint 190E 2.3-16v going by. I used to work at the local dealer when those were new. Fun times, fun cars! Never see them that nice in the U.S. anymore though.

Just love how the light can play on buildings in big cities.

After taking this picture, I shot a little video of walking back under the bridge. I would link to it, but I've tried linking to YouTube before and it triggers the s-p-a-m filter. Sorry!

Doing a little shopping while in Shinjuku. Hey, these folks have the right idea...

WANT!!! (Can't afford!)

R2!

Back outside in time for the last light of the day. Is it just me, or is the previous generation of Cube cuter than the current one? Although I like the current one. It's got that certain funkiness that the xB is missing.

Here's a truck advertising a robot cafe. Really? I've seen the maid cafes, I went to a rabbit cafe (more on that later), and I've even heard of a goat cafe. But a robot cafe? Oh right, this is Japan... Mr Green

On our way over to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and... bam! Night happened. lol

Ah, more Showa-era Tokyo alleyways! I just love these parts of Tokyo.

And modern Tokyo, which has a coolness and style all its own. Love these parts too.

From the observation deck of the Metro building. Not great photos, I know. Sorry. I tried to keep the reflections down, but no luck.

I shot a funny video at the bar with my friend. Wish I knew how to share it without triggering the spam filter...

Working the zoom on my little pocket camera.

Hopefully I'll be able to do another update soon.
