Ayase Haruka [綾瀬はるか] Only seen her in Sekai no Chuushin, but she was so talented in that one. To me, she wasn't an actress, she was Aki.
Dohmoto Tsuyoshi [堂本剛] I've only seen him in Summer Snow, but he's so good in it that he gets my vote. He is soooo good at portraying Natsuo.
Kimura Takuya [木村拓哉] At first, I knew he was a pretty good actor, but I never wanted to admit how good he really is, mostly because he is a pretty boy. But, after watching so many of his dramas, he has won my vote. He's so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It seems like a lot of characters are really similar on the surface, but most of them have been really different from the rest, and he's done a good job portraying all of their specific traits. He's so versatile, and so cool!
Oguri Shun [小栗旬] He is so talented! In every dorama, he does such a good job. GTO, Gokusen, Summer Snow, Hana Yori Dango... and he is in such high-quality dorama, too!
Shibasaki Kou [柴咲コウ] She's so good! so good! Of course she was best in Battle Royale. But she has played such different characters: In Orange Days, of course, she is amazing, and in Good Luck she plays such a different character. I also loved her in one missed call, which, by the way, is an awesome horror movie, and you should all watch it!
Takeuchi Yuko [竹内結子] She's so pretty! Loved her in Pride and Mukodono. Really good...
Beautiful life [ビューティフルライフ] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) If you want to watch something like this, you are better off just watching Summer Snow, which is really similar but even better. KimuTaku is the same as always, and Takiko is really good (she's the main reason I love this drama)... the ening was disappointing and a little sudden, but maybe I only think that because I watched this one right after Summer Snow, which has a perfect ending. Anyway, this drama all around is very touching, and even though it can be sad, it will make you feel really happy.
Bus stop [バスストップ] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) I tought it might be dumb, but it's really quite excellent. It will touch you.
Densha Otoko [電車男] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Good acting, the story got a little exaggerated, but still it was really funny and great to watch!
Friends [フレンズ] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) It's pretty good because it's half in Korean, and it's cool to see all the Korean stars in this Japanese drama, but overall it's really not that great. Kyoko is a pretty bad actress in it, and it's only four episodes. The story is pretty nice though, I think I cried (saw it a while ago).
Gokusen [ごくせん] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) Really similar to GTO, but funnier. The first couple of episodes are a little slow, and it's a little more formulaic than GTO, but once you're in the middle of the story, it will quickly be near the top of your favorites-list.
Gokusen Season 2 [ごくせん２] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) This became really repetetive really fast, but it's still really funny, and it's still Gokusen, so it's still awesome! At times I felt like it was even funnier than the first season... can't wait for the third!
Good Luck !! [グッドラック！！] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) Really exciting to watch. The music and camera zooming and everything is all really cool. The characters are also really interesting and well-portrayed by their actors.
GTO [麻辣教師] Rating: 10/10 This was my number one drama until I watched Summer Snow. Now it's a close number 2. It's essential to anyone who wants to watch dorama.
Hana Yori Dango [花より男子] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) Jun and Shun and Nanako all together, and Inoue is so cool also, this drama was sooooo good! I hope they make more seasons... man it's so awesome!
Hanazakari no Kimitachi e [花ざかりの君たちへ] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) Fun, amusing, but not really that great. Each episode is more of the same, the new plot turns are not that interesting. I stopped after about 5 episodes.
Kurosagi [クロサギ] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) Yamapi is soooo cool. He's like Johnny Depp meets KimuTaku. This dorama could have been a little funnier, but overall it is very good. It'd be cool if they had a season 2.

Last Christmas [ラストクリスマス] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) This was great! Love the music. In a way it was sort of a generic love story drama, but it was still fun nonetheless.
Long vacation [ロングバケーション] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) It's just a love story, but a really really good one. Good acting jobs, nice music, all-around it's excellent.
Love generation [ラブジェネレーション] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) A must-watch if you will be watching any romance dramas at all. It's a classic.
Lunch no Joou [ランチの女王] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) After watching this you will want to eat omuraisu so badly! Not the greatest drama but certainly entertaining enough that it's worth the watch!
Majo no jouken [魔女の条件] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) The ending wasn a little unexciting, but in general this is a top-notch dorama with a really intriguing story. And of course the acting is very good.
Moto Kare [元カレ] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) This one is really good. It will suck you into the world of the drama and you won't be able to help but feel what the characters are feeling.
Mukodono! [ムコ殿/女婿大人] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) I feel like it was missing something... something fresh and exciting. Nevertheless it was really touching and it will make you cry. And the song that Sakuraba Yuichiro is famous for is really really good.
Orange Days [オレンジデイズ] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) This drama is wonderful! If you're a boy you'll fall in love with Shibasaki Kou, and if you're a girl you'll fall in love with either Tsumabuki Satoshi or Narimiya Hiroki, or both! Sad at times, but overall really uplifting.
Pride [プライド] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) This is the show that made me finally admit that I like KimuTaku. This is happy, funny, exciting, and even sad, but by the end you will have only nice feelings because of it. And they do such a good job of filming the hockey games. It made me want to become a better ice skater!
Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu [世界の中心で、愛をさけぶ] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) This is probably the saddest drama I have ever watched, even sadder than summer snow. Pretty much every episode starting with 4 or 5 will make you cry sad tears. It's hard to watch, but totally worth it!
Stand UP!! Rating: 6/10 (Watched) Not that funny, and not really that interesting. Eh... just watch something else instead.
Summer snow Rating: 10/10 (Watched) Best drama ever! There has never been a more perfect ending to a story, ever. Watch it and give it more votes! It deserves to be number one! It's okay if GTO has move votes, but let's keep it at number two at least! Gokusen is catching up... Gokusen is really good, but Summer Snow is the best!
Tokyo Love Story [東京ラブストーリー] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) Another great romance. The ending wasn't very exciting, but it's still really fun to watch.
Trick [トリック] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) If you liked the mystery-solving aspect of Hero, this is WAY better! It's fun and entertaining, even funny. And sometimes scary! Not emotional at all, but really fun. Watch if you like magic tricks and knowing the secrets behind them! Soooo much fun!
Trick Season 2 [トリック2] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) sooooooooooo funny. Just as good as the first one!
Trick Season 3 [トリック3] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) so good! just as good as the first 2 seasons, watch it! The more Japanese you know, the better you will be able to understand some of the jokes. But even if you don't know any japanese, it will still be aweseome!
Tsuhan-Man Rating: 10/10 (Watched) This is one of those dramas that more people would vote for if they would just watch it. It's fun and different from other dramas, really cool. give it a chance! NOT just another love story.
