Densha Otoko [電車男] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) the first j-dorama I watched and really liked, a good recommendation for any anime fans who would like a good drama. a good mix of silly humor, romance and sort of a otaku/geek power that alota people can relate to.
Hana Yori Dango [花より男子] Rating: 8/10 great drama for people who are also shoujo manga fans ( and fans of the original manga of course) nice mix of some hard drama mixed in with some silly humor, its nice to see a heroine( inoue mao as makino tsukushi) that�fs a strong female character who also battle with doubt as well all do. nice to see a stung female with a strong male ( mao+matsujun) as the leading actor and actress
Kurosagi [クロサギ] Rating: 6/10 (Watched) only saw 3 episodes of it , stopped because..urr.. didn�ft agree with something the "lead actor " was doing in episodes 3-4 *cough cough*( might finish it later << ) but anyway of what i saw wasn�ft bad... kind of cute nice to see a different plot then the regular school / career drama. yamashita's acting was good at some points and a little off at others but had a basically solid performance, but I thought maki outshined him in what I saw ^.~
Nobuta wo Produce [野ブタ。をプロデュース] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) aaaaaaaaaaaaaah~ one of my all time drama�fs will probably stay one of my favorites, it really left a lasting impression, and I know some people will say " another dumb pointless jho0nnys drama used to sell CD's" but I don�ft care, its a really cute sweet silly offbeat drama, with a colorful cast of characters form shuji a cynical popular student who only fakes his happy go lucky cheerful attitude to glide thought school to my favorite, the drunken acting akira, who has more depth and seriousness despite his spastic demeanor and nobuta, quirky shy, but dedicated to changing her self and showing appreciation to her "producers"
this is a wonderful drama that plays off differently then others if your looking for a really mushy high school love drama, or a tearjerker about a kid with a terminal disease then this is nor your drama, but if your looking for a cute funny drama that reminds you of your wacky class back from high school and the little oddities of life then nobuta is for you.
Ns' Aoi [Ns’ あおい ] Rating: 6/10 (Watched) only seen 4eps so far not bad..
thought admittedly the only major reason I wanted to see this drama is because I�fm a nursing student and I wanted to get a view ( thought I know dramas aren�ft real life) of what nursing is like in Japan. though a professional standpoint that drama wisent exactly realistic and made simple produces even a lower level nurse could do overly dramatic and complicated. ( sorry i notice these things ^^;; ) it still was interesting series with some heard, follows the typical career drama cliche's but, will still quite fun and entertaining to watch
